The Rescue

After the accident with Miss. Blossom I call Veronica, trust her more than anyone else. Ask her can we meet up at Pop's, and surprisingly, she said yes

"It's been awhile Toni, haven't seen you at school recently" as Veronica takes a sip of her chocolate milkshake

"I mean, there's no point of going there if they teach you the same everyday with no homework"

Veronica shrug

"Ok so I call you here because we need to talk about Cheryl" me playing with my strawberry milkshake

"Why? Is she okay?"

"I bought Cheryl a puppy that she always wanted and—"

"Awwwe" coming from Veronica

"Omg whatever" we started laughing "But anyway I went to her house to surprise her. Cheryl mom answered the door saying that Cheryl is in boarding school in Paris. I don't buy it at all."

Veronica shrug "I mean there's only one boarding school we—"

I cut her off "We not traveling all the way to Paris" I put my hand on the table "I know for a fact that Cheryl would never leave just like that without saying..." got a tears in my eyes "without her saying bye to me" I wipe the tears of my face and looked at Veronica

Veronica smiled "Well I see how important Cheryl she is to you" Veronica stands up "Good thing I know someone that might know where she is" Veronica pulls her hand out, indicating me to follow her

We eventually met up with Kevin, telling us the places that Cheryl might be.

"Y'all heard of the called "Sister of Quiet Mercy?" Kevin asked

"Yea, but why Cheryl would be there? Didn't they got shut down like 10 years ago?" Veronica said

"Cause the sisters still gets paid for doing gay conversion therapy. The patients that were or still there be escaping through a tunnel that still exist till this day." Jeez, Kevin is smarter than I thought he was

I crossed my arms "So do you know where the tunnel is Kevin?"

"Yes, but we should probably go at night" Kevin suggested

Around midnight we all decided to go to the tunnel

"Ok, Kevin if we not back here in 10 minutes, call your dad"

Kevin shook did his head, a sign that he understood

I bust the door open with a crowbar. Good thing we brought flashlights cause these tunnels are very dark. We finally made it through the main hallway. Seeing at the doors that Cheryl might be in

"Okay, let's split up. We'll cover much ground from here" I said "We gonna search even damn room till we find her" I said with confidence

"Okay, just be careful please. I don't have time for you to get captured or anything something" Veronica said as she was walking down the hall

I walk down the right hall
"Cher!" I kept walking "Cheryl!"

*Cheryl point of view*

Watching this boring ass movie, crying in boredom. Surrounded by people I don't even know. Mother didn't give a explanation to why I'm with the sisters in the first place

I bended over to tie my shoe, then I heard someone call my name

"Cheryl!" I heard in the distance

I got up from the bed, looked at the small little window that's in my door, and see bright light.

"Come on Cheryl where are you!" Toni on the verge of tears it sounds like

I opened the door, don't want to see her like this

"Toni! In here!" Toni storms through the hallway and ran straight to the room I was in
"Oh my god" she gives me the tightest hug ever "Thank your safe" she pulls back and scan my body, "Did they hurt or anything?"

"I'm fine Toni" I said with a smile

Veronica burst in the room "We gotta go ladies. There's a bunch of nuns coming this way"

Toni grab my hand we all ran through the emergency exit. The nuns coming in both way, we kept running straight. We kept running till we a door the leads outside

"Hurry up!" Kevin shouted

Me, Toni and Veronica ran with all of our speed we had left in us. We made it outside, Veronica and kept kept running. I stopped with Toni so she can barricade the door with the crowbar she had. When she was done with that, I grabbed Toni hand and we kept running

Woah that was fun but scary at the same time
