It's been two days since I've seen Aspen. Correction: it's been two days since I've seen anyone.

After leaving the cafe and finding out all the information my girls gave me, I was shocked. It wasn't typical of me to assume that anyone liked me but the way my friends talked so jealously of how I'd been treated made me feel special. Important even.

After driving home I finally broke down thinking about Xavier and how I liked someone so awful.

My breakdown lasted a few hours but I deemed it fit to just stay home for a day and ignore the outside world.

It was now Monday and I was a complete mess.

My reflection in the mirror looked back at me and my hair was oily and curls framed my face in the most unflattering way. My eyes had dark bags under them and looked puffy. My lips were even chapped and that was my biggest pet peeve but I ran out of chapstick yesterday so I had to leave the house today and grab more.

I stripped of my clothes and adjusted the water head accordingly before immersing myself into the steamy water.

Aspen hasn't come over. I thought with a frown. For some reason, for the time I went incognito I hoped he would visit since we had a few heated moments. The thought alone brings my face to a blushing red and I just hope that I'll snap out of these thoughts I have about him sooner than later.

The piping hot water began turning My skin red so after cleansing the rest of my body I hopped out before proceeding to magically make myself look decent.

My hand clutched onto my flannel sleeves which were tied around my waist as the other held my wallet and phone. I jogged onto the sidewalk of the city, huffing out large quantities of air.

Because I haven't been outside I decided to catch up on excersize by running a few miles to the store but now that I'm halfway it feels like a terrible idea.

I really gotta get in shape. I thought while breathing heavily and wishing I'd just taken my car.

The store eventually came into my view and I halted my jog before turning in with relief that I had a temporary break.

Inside of the store displayed many exotic foods that lead me to follow the scent of coconut before I picked up a few and carried on my shopping with a small cart that I honestly couldn't help but ride every few minutes.

In the freezer section I found pizza rolls but my short frame didn't allow me to grab it so instead I stood shakily on my cart, still on my tip toes trying to reach it but still managed to fail.

The sound of a chuckle made its way from my right and I looked over to find Aspen.

This isn't embarrassing at all.

"Need help?" He asked with an amused smirk.

I blushed, still standing in an awkward position and looked down to him for once.

"I-I-Uhm. I don't?"

Oh god. I just had to make it 10 times more embarssing didn't I?

Aspen held back a chuckle and gave me a 'sure you don't' look before his warm hands grasped my side's and he gently lifted me out of the cart making tingles erupt in every spot he touched.

Instead of sitting me down I went up high enough to grab the pizza rolls and I did so, trying to hold back my blushing for just one conversation with this man.

When he sat me down his hands didn't leave but instead they moved upwards as his hand caressed the tender part of my neck which now held his fading hickey. I soon realized that his eyes were on it and I subconsciously moved my hair to hide it.
