"Just happy little accidents-" I quoted with Bob Ross on the tv in front of me and grinned.

The screen reflected colorful lights on me and my walls behind me as the man on it began blending out trees which looked humanly impossible.

Outside the thunder rumbled and rain tapped against the roof surface and I cuddled into my blanket more and finished off my popcorn. I licked the butter off my lips and remembered last night's events again.

After Daniel had asked to kiss me, Rena chose the perfect moment to drive her car right in front of me and honk her horn so loud that I was sure all town could hear it. After that, she jumped out with a fat grin on her face and a single eyebrow lifted as if she knew what was going on. It's safe to say nothing happened between me and Daniel as Rena had flicked him in the head and dragged me all the way back up to her apartment in about 30 seconds. Rena is officially the worst wing woman ever.

Good god I'm never getting any with Rena around am I?

As I licked the remainder bits of butter off my lips, my stomach grumbled again and I groaned.

I stood out of the comfort of my couch and grabbed another packet of popcorn from the grocery bag I left on our loveseat and skipped to the kitchen.

Another round of thunder passed when the tv flickered off behind me as I walked out of the room.

Before I could reach the kitchen, when I passed my doorway I heard someone scream "shit" and a sound of a crash sound behind it.

Immediately I unlocked then opened the front door to reveal a soaked and dark figure across the street at Aspen's place. Surrounding the person was a tipped over metal trashcan and a trash bag dripping in the rain outside.

I shivered with the gust of wind that came inside and jumped back as the door smashed against the wall.

The sound seemed to make the man notice me and I finally recognized him as Aspen when the streetlight reflected over his face.

Worry set in my stomach and I frowned.

"Aspen!" I called him and gestured for him to come over.

After hearing me, he ran across the street with water slapping against the pavement and as he did so I watched him shiver but try hiding it by folding his arms over his chest and fleeing them under his black tee.

When he stops and stands in front of me is when I notice his movements being sloppy, and his eyes looking tired.

His hair is sticking against his face in multiple spots, the black tee shirt he is wearing is soaked onto his skin showing me his something pack, and his nose is red with water droplets running down it.

"Get in here you dipshit!" I frowned, grabbing his hand and pulling him in.

My foot kicked the door shut, and I guided Aspen who was bowing his head down and unusually silent to the living room.

"Why were you out there?" I questioned, worried that Aspen was sick.

It was then that he lifted his hooded eyes finally making eye contact with me.

"I-I locked myself out." He grinned sheepishly but still looked odd.

When he thought I wasn't looking, he let himself shiver making me gasp lightly in concern.

"You need to change out of those clothes. You'll get sick." I muttered, then grasped his wrist trying to ignore the tingles which spread on my skin. Then I ran upstairs with him behind me.

Once we reached my room I let go of him and began searching my closet for his clothes that were left and never returned.

Jared had a similar size to Aspen, just he was nearly 5 inches shorter so I mentally begged that this shirt wouldn't look cropped.

Rummaging through my closet for a while, I found a pair of branded grey sweatpants and a black Oasis shirt that looked very used.

Once I picked the items up, I looked up to Aspen with a grin and lifted my arms to give him the wrinkled shirt and baggy sweatpants. He gave me a look as if I'd grown two heads.

"If you don't change you'll get sick." I muttered sheepishly.

With that, he sighed but began taking off his soaking wet shirt, revealing his abs as a full show for me.

I panicked once his hands began moving to unbuckle his belt and shouted "No no. Not my virgin eyes!" Then threw the clothing items on my bed and ran out the room, shutting the door behind me.

The door slammed and I let out a breathe of air. God, his abs were nice. If I had a choice of what my last sight would be before death it'd be bare Aspen. What a creep.

"Why do you have that creepy smile?" Aspen smirked, seeming somewhat like himself again.

His appearance in my exes clothes was wow. I never thought it was possible for a guy to look runway ready in sweatpants but Aspen takes the cake.

"Just imagining punching you for being stupid." I sweetly grinned up at him before turning around and running back downstairs to my original place on the couch, hoping Aspen would follow.

"Where are you going, Woman?" I heard Aspen groan from the staircase. Once he reached me I saw him holding his shirt closer to him as if he was still cold.

I took the blanket from under me and stood, wrapping it around his bulky shoulders.

"Do you have a fever?" My palm set on his forehead and I felt immediate heat flaring from the skin.

"No." Aspen laughed.

"You're burning hot!"

"Thanks I guess..."

My hand swung around my body and I gently smacked Aspen on the cheek.

"Oww." He groaned and pouted.

Warmth spread on my cheeks and I faced away from the tv to hide my blush from the lights.

Instead of talking to Aspen, I headed to the kitchen and took out the ingredients for lavender tea. As I placed in two sugar cubes, Aspen gave me a quizzical look.

"Are you trying to drug me and have your way with me? I didn't think you were that kind of woman." Aspen's breathe brushed on the edge of my ear as he spoke, sending tingles down my body.

Before I could get flustered my hand swung towards it's target which ended up being Aspen's shoulder. It ended up hurting me worst than it hurt him.

"Owww" I pouted, making Aspen send me an incredulous look. He only needed up looking cute with his red nose and small sniffle.

"You're the one who hit me!"

"Am not!"

"Are too!"

"I didn-" Before I could finish my sentence my phone rang with the familiar default ringtone and the screen flashed on.

I flipped it over and typed in my password to see a text from an unknown number, reading it.

On a scale of 1 to 10 you're a 9. Because I'm the one you need;)
