Silhouettes of trees coated the landscape as Daniel's car sped throughout the deserted and dark streets.

When he'd said his car looked bad, he was being very humble. There was a single scratch going along the door handle where his nephew had thrown his Thanos action figure at the car apparently. Either Daniel had an odd sense of humor, or was immensely dramatic.

My phone lightened up and vibrated on my lap and I glanced down to see two unread text notifications.

Rena
Sorry girl. Busy getting some. Where are you?

I sighed and typed a quick response back to her and turned off my phone, ignoring the other message. I couldn't even hear my own sigh due to the loud Smashing Pumkins album blasting through Daniels speakers.

Thoughts about Aspen plagued my mind much to my annoyance. It's like the guy was with me at all times but only in my head.

Earlier Serena mentioned that he was with other girls, and I had no right to be bothered by that fact but regardless I was. She only reminded me that Aspen was a solid player of steel.

It's not like he isn't fucking the whole school behind your back.

True.

Serena really knew what to say to stick in someone's mind.

Was he?

I mean, he's allowed to. There's nothing stopping him from being the school man thot. But like the idiot I am- I believed he was different.

I shook my head at the thoughts and saw Daniels hand craning down to turn down the loudness of the music.

"I forgot to mention we are dropping by my place to grab the medicine for my grandma-" He laughed at himself for a second.

"-Wow. Gotta show the hot girl I'm a badass by taking her to my grandma's place. Good going Daniel." He muttered as pink tinted his cheeks.

After saying that, he turned into a driveway which I had not previously noticed due to flower vines creeping up the sides of a wall causing the petals to illuminate within the car lights.

If I was not already distracted by the beautiful flowers, the house would have had me going crazy.

When the house finally came into view I had to hold back a gasp at the beauty of it all.

The house looked like it came straight out of a Tumblr photo!

Black colored walls illuminated with the car headlights shining on them. The home itself was not mansion sized, but it definitely was big enough to live very comfortably with a family of 6. It seemed industrial with the brass door and cubical themed shapes.

Once his car drove past all the flowers, two lights next to the front door lit up in a orange tint as lights lined the driveway.

Everything was magical.

"Hey.. uh Daniel? Is this your sugar Daddies home or something?" I asked shocked.

He laughed in response.

"No. But the sugar daddy life isn't for me. I'm diabetic."

My eyebrows furrowed.

"-Because that ass is so sweet!" Daniel said before I could even open my mouth.

Before I could stop myself my hand flew to my face and slapped it so hard that I flinched and groaned in pain. Though my face hurt, nothing hurt worst than Daniel's joke.

"Just get your Grandma's meds before I hit myself with this car." I half-joked.

Daniel smiled and swiftly left the car with his door slightly opened letting the breeze go inside the car. I shivered and rubbed my bare arms feeling uneasy.

I scanned the place further to see the small lights that lined the driveway slowly turning off starting from the ones furthest away from myself. As they slowly turned off everything around the car got dark.

My hands scrambled to unbuckle the seatbelt around me and the winding fabric stuck on my arm as it went up. I leaned down and pulled on Daniels door handle to shut it with a bit of struggle.

After shutting the car door, the cold wind stayed outside and warmth spread back into my arms.

The uneasy feeling within me spread as I continued to look around my surroundings.

As I eyed the window intensely a large  figure jumped and banged into it as I screamed in panic as my hand darted towards the door look.

It was only when I heard a man's laugh that I stopped and boiled with annoyance when a head of blonde made it's way into the windows view.

I breathed heavily and stared at Daniel wide-eyed as my hands balled into fists.

Instead of opening the door and speaking to me, he ran around and opened his own and entered still laughing.

"You're a dick." I muttered, arms crossing over my chest.

"Oh so you wanna see my dick now?" He said cheekily.

Red spread around my cheeks instantly and I was glad the darkness was present as Daniel began backing out of the driveway.

"I'd love to if you have a magnifying glass."

"Ouch. In that case I'd love to take you to my eye doctor if you have seeing problems. Then you'll be begging for a second chance to see it." He laughed which showed me it was a complete joke before I got riled up.

"I'd rather be blind." My face fell into complete seriousness.

The rest of the car ride was full of myself blushing and Daniel making dirty innuendos which I didn't hate as much as I'd expect to. We finally arrived to the apartment complex and Daniel turned his music down yet again and my ears silently thanked him for doing so.

My hands grasped the seatbelt and clicked to unbuckle myself and I hopped out of the car and into the chilly nights setting.

Everything around us was dark and only lightly illuminated by a few street lights lining the road next to the apartment building.

"Somebody needs to turn off the ac" Daniel joked, while shoving his fingers in his small jacket pockets and shivering.

Once he noticed my chills he opened his arms wide and grinned at me like an idiot.

"Want a hug to warm you up?"

"No can do. I'm saving hugs for marriage." I winked jokingly.

The smile on his face fell and he pouted before shoving his hands in his pockets and huffed out into the cold air.

His eyes twinkled in the light as he got closer to my face and edged in until our breathes mingled.

"What about a kiss?"
