The school crowd was beginning to file in. The children had gotten out of Summer School last month to give them a little break. But school would start once again on September 1st, with more Holidays than usual so that families could still see one another.

Currently, there were only a few kids in the shop, but more than there had been over summer. You didn't know most of the children or the adults, but you and George felt very proud to send a new wave of pranksters into Hogwarts to torture the new caretaker. (Filch retired after the battle).

You heard that the new caretaker was none other than Gilderoy Lockhart, our 4th year Defense Against the Dark Arts teacher. It would be a pleasure to get some owls to the shop saying what torture the newbies would be involved in.

Dennis Creevey was in his last year at Hogwarts. He came alone and looked awful tired.

The Creevey brothers had been your neighbors before you attended Hogwarts. You had grown up like siblings. The boys were the brothers you'd never had, and you the sister they'd never had.

He walked up to the counter with a camera that looked an awful lot like Colin's. "Hey Denny! How are you? Where's Colin?" You asked him.

Dennis swallowed hard. "Y/n I haven't seen you in forever." He said, but his tone wasn't light and airy as you'd always known it. "C-can I talk to you for a moment?" He asked. You glanced back at George who nodded.

You stepped outside with Dennis. "Y/n, you were really close to Colin and I as children. Do you remember?" He asked.

You smiled at him, "Of course I remember, Dennis."

He bit his lip and laughed a little nervously. "Yeah well...this isn't exactly good news." He paused and you waited for him to finish. "I-it's Colin. H-he...He died Y/n. He died in the battle a year ago." Dennis blurted out.

You were taken by surprise and your breath caught. Dennis's eyes were shining with un-shed tears.

Your eyes hurt because you had no tears left to cry and your throat burned. "Colin...not him too..."

Dennis handed you a card. It read a date during winter break where the service for Colin was to be held. "We want you to speak. Mum and Dad say that you were like the daughter they never had. I know Colin would agree that you're like our sister."

Finally a tear fell from your left eye. You hugged the 16 year old boy, petting his mousy brown hair. "Oh Dennis." You said and he hugged you back. He was the same height as you now and gave the best hugs, just as he had as a little boy.

You remembered when he was born, you had been 5 years old, Colin was only 1. You pulled away. "Did you come to shop or what?" You asked with a forced smile and laugh.

"Actually, I came to take pictures. I got hired as a part-time photographer for the Daily Prophet in my brothers place when I finish school, that's what I'm going to do. Fulfill his dream." He said with a smile.

You nodded and let him inside. He snapped a few pictures before calling George and you over to get some shots of you.

George took your hand and you smiled and waved in front of the shop. He twirled you around, sprinkling some rose-scented pink dust. (Made to throw in people's eyes, but scented so they didn't think you completely rude). But it was a truly magical picture.

You showed off some other products and Dennis soon left you with your customers.

You got into the left side of your queen sized bed with George on the right and stared at the plain white ceiling thinking of Colin and Dennis.

Wishing your brother was alive. This set off the chain again. Your dad, your mother in a coma, your love.

George touched your arm and brought you back to reality. You cuddled into his arms and kissed his nose. He gave you something that you had been misting out-hope. You still had Dennis. Your mum wasn't dead, the doctors said that she might actually wake in a few weeks. Of course, your new love. Falling for George Weasley after all this time.

A/n, so I think I'm going to change the title of this book and maybe the cover too, so don't be alarmed. The new title will be; After
