I set down my phone and stared at my closet.
"Okay so three months. Longest tour we've ever been on. But we'll have a lot of febreze, so not too much stuff."
I quickly packed several t-shirts and skinny jeans, toiletries, my laptop and recording equipment, my ukulele, and then got a separate bag for books, jackets, ah fuck I'm running out of space. I grabbed two strings of white fairy lights and my headphones, phone charger, and art supplies before I finally finished. I sat down on my bed, getting on my phone again. It opened to Instagram, and I saw a post from Awsten Knight pop up.

I chuckled before turning off my phone and heading to bed.
*skip til next morning*
Holy fuck. Holy fuck it's really happening. It's actually fucking happening. I'm going on Warped Tour. This has been my dream since I was like seven. Oh my god.
We got all of our shit into our tour bus and immediately ran to claim our bunks. I ended up with a top bunk closest to the bathroom, which wasn't too bad. Until I realized I forgot my black nail polish. And my gaming headset.
"WAIT HOLD UP I'LL BE LIKE TWO SECONDS I'LL BE RIGHT BACK!" I yelled to our bus driver who was just about to start driving. I sprinted up to our 13th story apartment (which fucking sucked), grabbed my stuff and ran back down. I hopped on the bus and the driver began driving immediately. Apparently we'd been added to the setlist late and we needed to get there as soon as possible.
I collapsed on our couch, panting. Leriyah came in, arms crossed.
"What was so fucking important that you had to run up 13 flights of stairs?" She demanded. I held up my $300 headset, too out of breath to speak. She sighed and nodded, knowing that I did really need this headset.
"Alright. First hour of our first tour and Alex almost killed themself, what next?" Jack said.
"How about we make a shitty attempt to unpack in a moving bus?" Nixie asked, and we all nodded.
Leriyah and Nixie had been in charge of food, and they began to unpack it into the cupboards and fridge. Jack was put on movies and games, since he's the biggest fucking nerd in all of history. I drew the short straw and was put in charge of toiletries. Yay.
We all were unpacking when the bus stopped. The door opened and on stepped Eve, our photographer and my sister. I ran to her and gave her a huge hug.
"Eve hiiii!" I exclaimed. She smiled.
"Hey Alex. I haven't seen you in forever!!" She giggled.
"Yeah and I'm mad at you for that, because you literally live half an hour away from me."
"WELL ANYWAYS, can I see which bunks are left?" I fake glared at her before laughing, and showed her to her bunk.
This tour is going to be awesome, I can feel it.
