Awsten's POV

After Alex destroyed me in Dance Dance Revolution, we got back on their bike and they took me downtown, pointing out all of their favorite places.

"That's one of my favorite restaurants," They pointed to a place called 'Wazee Supper Club'. "And that's one of my favorite places to study, because it has a little bakery in it with these amazing brownies." They pointed to a bookstore. I grinned at how enthusiastic they were.

"Have you really been to every store and restaurant here?" I laughed.

"Basically. My mom worked some really long hours at a hospital, so I stayed down here with Meredith's family a lot after my dad left."

"Reall-" I was cut off my Alex's phone blaring Toxic by Britney Spears. They frowned as they fished out their phone from their pocket.

"Sorry, it's Leriyah, it's probably important." They said, answering it. "Hello?" A pause. "HE WHAT? ARE YOU SERIOUS?!" A grin spread across their face. "You said yes, right?" another pause. "Yeah, I'm out with Awsten right now, but we'll be back in an hour or so," They nodded. "Uh huh. Thanks for telling me! Bye Lee," They hung up and turned to me.

"What is it?" I asked and they beamed.

"Apparently our manager just called and said that Kellin Quinn wants us to do a song with Sleeping with Sirens!"

"That's amazing! I'm so proud of you, babe!" I wrapped my arms around them and spun them around, then putting them down and kissing them.

"Now let's finish showing you around." They giggled, pulling me towards the 16th Street Mall.

I stood backstage as Alex jumped around, climbing up rafters and belting their lyrics and the audience shouting them back.

I'm always in awe whenever I see Euthanasia perform, they have such amazing energy and talent. I'm so fucking lucky to be with Alex. They're so gorgeous. They glanced over and beamed at me, making my heart flutter.

"So, this isn't what we normally do, but I love this song and wanted to dedicate it to someone," They took their ukulele from a stage hand. "This is called Darling I'm a Mess by Sabrina Carpenter."
