I sat on a trunk side stage by Awsten's show, watching his set. After his set finished, he ran over and hugged me, still all sweaty.

"Thanks, Aws, now I have to go change my shirt," I laughed, to show I was kidding. We walked around a bit, seeing the other bands, waiting until my set was supposed to start.

"So how are you?" Awsten finally asked me.

"I'm good. I'm a little stressed since Stella left, because we still need a rhythm guitarist, but we are seeing someone tomorrow who's interested in auditioning, so that's cool. I really hope she's good, because we need somebody soon." I said.

"Why? Songs just don't sound the same?" He asked.

"Yep. Stella's really talented, too. I miss her."

"Oh shit it's almost time for your set," Awsten said. I checked my phone, saw that he was right and turned and speed walked toward my stage.

I finished my set and walked off stage to meet Awsten. We walked, talked, and ate dippin dots until bus call.

We arrived at the house where we were meeting the girl for her audition. We arrived and knocked, and the door opened to reveal a little boy. Jack bent down and smiled at him.

"Hey, little buddy. We're here to see Mykie. Could you go get her for us?" The little boy nodded and ran off, returning a moment later with a girl. She looked about 18 or 19, had greenish blue eyes, and dark blue hair that was put into short, spiky pigtails on the side of her head.

"Luke, what are you- oh!" She looked up at us and smiled.

"Hey! I'm Alex, this is Leriyah, Nixie, and Jack." I introduced us all.

"I'm Mykie, this is my little brother Luke," She introduced herself, motioning for all of us to come in.

"I'm so sorry we have to meet here, I got stuck on babysitting duty until, um..." She glanced at her phone. "Ten minutes ago. They're late, awesome." She smiled uneasily.

"It's okay. Is it just Luke that you have to babysit, or are there more?" Nixie asked.

"There's one more, Claire. She's in the living room." She led us to the living room, where we saw another eleven year old girl sitting and watching TV. Mykie went up to her.

"Hey, Claire? Do you mind if Luke comes in to watch TV with you?" She asked.

"Why?" Claire asked.

"Because I gotta do stuff right now and I need something to keep him occupied."

"Ugh fine." You know how eleven year olds are. Mykie got Luke and set him on the couch next to Claire, before leading us to the garage.

"Sorry about that," She smiled nervously at us.

"It's cool. Now let's do this." We got all set up and finally started the audition. And it was awesome.

Mykie is super talented. She played every song like it was nothing. Her fingers moved so fast, I could barely see them. Holy shit.

We finished playing and started the awkward interview portion. We found out that she just turned eighteen, lives with her family and is preparing to move out at the end of the summer.

"Y'know, if we decide to let you into the band, we're on Warped Tour right now. Do you think you could be prepared for that so quickly?" Leriyah asked her. Mykie nodded enthusiastically. "Well, I think we'll just need a few minutes to talk and get an answer for you!" Mykie nodded again and left the room to let us talk.

"She's really talented, but I'm not sure she can handle the pressure of being on tour so quickly. She's only eighteen." Leriyah said.

"Alright, Lee, when we went on our first tour I wasn't even an adult. And no, she's never been on tour, but there has to be a start for everyone. Let's just vote, okay? Standard band rules. Has to be a unanimous vote to let her in. Okay?" Everyone nodded, and we began our vote.

Hey y'all this was supposed to be ready for Awsten's birthday but it wasn't so yeah. I don't even know what I'm doing anymore I'm v stressed because I'm in theatre and rehearsal are literally every day and even though I play a random high school student it's a musical and there's a bunch of choreography and songs I have to memorize plus I'm also on Set Tech. But the thing is I love being in the musical it's just that its so time consuming. I do really love this story though.
