long chapter sorry!!

I stepped onto the bus after Awsten. I was immediately greeted by Geoff and Otto, who then interrogated Awsten about how he met me.

"How did you meet her?"

"What band is she from?"

"HOW DID YOU MEET MY FAVORITE YOUTUBER?!" I stopped them.

"Okay first of all, they them pronouns my dudes. We met when I just finished my set and was walking around and he was heading to his. I'm from the band Euthanasia." I said.

"He talks about you a lot, you know." Geoff said.

"Yeah, he really loves your YouTube channel." Otto added.

"When you followed him on Instagram he flipped shit."

"And when you did a cover of Lucky People he couldn't stop smiling for like a full day."

"Well when I saw that he saw my cover of Lucky People, I couldn't stop smiling for like a full day," I said.

"Okay can we, like, stop talking about this?" Awsten said, blushing. "Movies, remember?"

"Ugh fine."

*timeskip*

"It's like 3 am we should stop." Awsten said.

"Who votes that we stop?" I asked. Awsten raised his hand.

"Who votes that we watch Heathers?" I asked. Jawn, Geoff, Otto, and I all raised our hands. Awsten sighed.

"Fine, one more."

*timeskip again sorry*

After we'd finished Heathers, I looked to see Awsten asleep on my shoulder. I smiled.

"He is a really big fan of yours," Otto said.

"Stop embarrassing him," I laughed, throwing a pillow at him. I leaned my head on top of his and fell asleep.

I woke up to Awsten shaking me.

"You're phone's buzzing. I think it's Leriyah trying to text you." He said. I groaned and looked at my phone.

leriyahkeys: alex

leriyahkeys: where the fuck are you

leriyahkeys: we have an interview with alternative press in an hour I need you over here and ready in thirty minutes

"OH SHIT!" I yelled, seeing that the message had been sent ten minutes ago. I quickly ran into their bathroom, washing off my face after seeing my terrible makeup. I'd slept in my clothes from yesterday, so I didn't need to change. I quickly pulled on my shoes, seeing Awsten walk up to me.

"What the fuck is going on?" He asked.

"Sorry, I um-" I grabbed my other shoe. "Apparently we have an interview with Alternative Press and I have to be back at my bus and ready to go in fifteen minutes, so I really have to get moving," I yanked on my other shoe and grabbed my phone, running out the door. "SORRY!" I yelled behind me. I sprinted back to my bus, immediately running into the bathroom to do my makeup. Nothing much, just some foundation to cover up my old acne scars, and eyeliner because I'm edgy. I quickly did my hair, and tied my favorite black flannel around my waist.

"Alex, are you here? We gotta go!" Nixie yelled into the bus.

"Yeah one sec!" I ran out of the bathroom and out of the bus, meeting the rest of the band.

"Alright let's go!" Jack yelled.

*timeskip*

We arrived at the AP tent, and we were informed that we were going to do the 5 crucial facts interview. We all sat down and decided that we were gonna all introduce it together.

"Hello we're the band Euthanasia and here are 5 facts about us!" We all said in unison, except Jack, who was behind, causing me to laugh.

"First of all, we're all giant nerds."

"Everyone knows that, Jack."

"Um... We all met in theatre in high school."

"Oh yeah we did, that was fun. I was like, lead set tech, Leriyah was stage manager, Nixie did sound and Alex got like every lead role. Except that one time in freshman year that you doubled as an actor and a techie." Jack told the story.

"Yeah that was really stressful, but also really fun."

"Number two, is... Um... Fuck we're not interesting." Nixie laughed. "I used to teach guitar lessons. I had to stop because I'm a really shitty teacher," She laughed again.

"Yeah she tried to teach me but failed miserably and that's why I play ukulele and not guitar!"

"OH HEY I HAVE A YOUTUBE CHANNEL!" I yelled out. "That's interesting!"

"Are you gonna do a self promo right now of all the times?"

"Yes I am go subscribe to me my channel name is Emotional Unicorns." I said, grinning.

"That's interesting why did you pick that name Alex?" Jack said sarcastically.

"Because I'm emo and emo is short for emotional. Also Emo Unicorns was taken at the time. And also I love unicorns."

"Ooh hey! I have another thing! Alex is non binary! That's a cool fact!" Nixie grinned. I paled. I'd never met these people before I have no clue how they'll judge me. What if they kick us out? What if they don't publish the interview? What if they publicly-

Jack nudged me, pulling me out of my thoughts.

"You okay?" He asked. Jack was sometimes very loud and he could be kind of an asshole at times, but he's also the best emotional support system ever. Everyone needs a Jack in their lives. I nodded, and stayed almost silent until the end of the interview, occasionally laughing at someone else's statement.

"And that's it, thanks guys!" I sighed in relief and began walking to the stage where parx was playing, I promised them I'd watch their set and they agreed to watch mine afterwards.
