9- date

I saw that Leriyah had opened the door and was now in her protective mother mode, informing Awsten to have me back before bus call, blah blah blah. I looked over to Awsten, who was wearing black skinny jeans and a short sleeved blue button down. I stepped off the bus, laughing.

"Lee, it's okay. I'm an adult, remember? We'll be fine." I said. She looked me up and down.

"Alright. Sorry." She began to walk back into the bus.

"Oh hey will you grab my phone?" I asked her. She turned back, smiling.

"Such an adult." She returned a moment later with my phone, and I finally turned to Awsten, who was staring at me.

"You're staring, Aws," I laughed.

"Sorry, you're just... really gorgeous." He grinned, causing both of us to blush.

"Oh my god look at them they're so cute!" I heard squealing from my bus, and turned around too see Nixie, Jack, Eve, Mykie and Leriyah all staring at us through the window.

"OH MY GOD STOP." I yelled at them, and they all scattered, and the turned back when they thought I wasn't looking. "How about we go now?" I said to Awsten.

"Yeah," He grinned. We began walking to wherever the hell he was taking me.

"So are you gonna tell me where we're going?" I asked.

"Nope!" He smiled.

"Is it... dinner?"

"Well, dinner is included, but it is not the main thing."

"What kind of date has dinner that's not a dinner date?" I laughed.

"You'll see!" He laughed back. Oh my god he's so cute what the actual fuck. We continued to walk in silence awkwardly.

After a minute I felt my hand brush his, and after a small surge of confidence I intertwined my fingers with his. We both blushed and smiled and continued to walk to our unknown destination.

A few minutes later, we turned a corner and I saw a large amusement park. I gasped.

"Is that it? Is that where we're going?!" I asked, my excitement similar to that of a little kid. He nodded, grinning.

"Oh my god I love amusement parks! How did you know?" I beamed at him.

"I, um. I asked Eve." He said.

"How'd you meet Eve?"

"Well, she and Jawn have become pretty good friends, as fellow photographer nerds, so he introduced me."

"And you asked her what my ideal date would be?" I smiled.

"Yeah? Now that I'm saying it out loud it sounds kinda creepy," He looked at the ground sheepishly.

"No, I think it's cute. You actually cared enough to ask what I might want to do, but still was able to keep it a surprise." I grinned, and he smiled back at me.

"Now let's go!"

We entered the park and immediately I got a map and opened it.

"So where do you wanna go first?"

"THERE'S A BATMAN RIDE WE'RE GOING THERE." I said immediately. "Also I'm warning you in advance, I have literally no sense of direction so we're probably gonna get lost if I take us there." I said.

"Well, tough shit because me too." He laughed.

"Alright so we're already kinda fucked. But let's try anyways." I smiled at him, and tried to figure out where we were.
