A month or so after Awsten and I started dating, I sat in my bunk, writing down some lyrics and humming the tune under my breath. A few minutes later, Nixie popped her head into my bunk and told me that Awsten was here. I put down my notebook and left, smiling.

Awsten wore black skinny jeans, combat boots, and a pastel blue sweater that covered his hands. He looked so... soft. He also had his glasses on. He looked over and smiled at me.

"Hey Alex," I really wanted to kiss him.

"Hi, Awsten." I wish there weren't any people around.

"I got you dippin dots. Cookie dough." HAVE I BEEN BLESSED WITH AN ANGEL? NEXT THING I KNOW HE'S GONNA BE MAKING ME PANCAKES GODDAMN.

"Cookie dough is my favorite!" I smiled. He handed it to me.

"I know," I smiled wider as we began to walk, glancing at all the shows we passed. I ended up throwing away the dippin dots after a few bites, not feeling hungry anymore.

A few minutes passed, and I said, "So where are we going?"

"My bus. I want to show you something," He said as we approached the buses.

We reached the Waterparks bus and he opened the door quickly, pulling me onto the bus. As soon as the door was closed, Awsten pulled me into a kiss.

"Is that what you wanted to show me?" I asked.

"No. I just wanted to kiss you." He said, pulling me to the back of the bus.

Awsten sat down and pulled an acoustic guitar into his lap.

"I wrote this a few days ago, I wanted to get your opinion," He said as I sat down.

"I'm honored. Has anyone else heard it?"

"No. Geoff and Otto might have heard it in passing, but you're the first person I've really played it to."

He played me the song and looked up shyly.

"So, um... what do you think?" I smiled wide.

"I love it," I said, and he grinned.

"Really?"

"Of course!" I exclaimed. He put the guitar down and pulled me into his lap.

"Good, because it's for you." He kissed me on the cheek. I blushed furiously, burying my head in his neck. I heard Awsten laugh and pull me closer to him.

"You're so cute!" He poked my nose. My phone rang abruptly, making both Awsten and I jump before I fished it out of my pocket

"Hello?" I answered.

"OHMYGOD ALEX ALEX ALEX GUESS WHAT!" Eve practically screamed.

"Holy fuck Eve calm down."

"Ok," She took a deep breath.

"Now what happened?"

"Nixie and Leriyah are officially girlfriend and girlfriend!" Eve exclaimed.

I gasped. "You're kidding."

"Nope! They're actually together!"

"FUCKING FINALLY GODDAMN."

"I KNOW."

"Well anyways, thanks for telling me. Anything else?"

"No that's it."

"Ok bye."

"Bye." I hung up and put down my phone on the floor next to me.

"That was the weirdest conversation I've ever heard someone have on the phone." Awsten spoke up, making me laugh.

"That's just what Eve and I are like." I said, leaning up to kiss his cheek. "She called to tell me that Nixie and Leriyah are finally an item.

"Nice," He nodded. "I ship it."

"Same."

"Hey Awsten, our set starts soon, where are you?" We heard Geoff calling.

"Back here," Awsten yelled back. Geoff came back to where we were.

"Could you guys take a break from being cute? We have to go play." He said. I got off Awsten's lap and stood, immediately feeling dizzy. Awsten noticed, getting up quickly.

"Are you okay? What's wrong?" He asked, his eyebrows knitted together.

"I'm fine, don't worry."

Awsten hesitated. "You sure?"

"I'm okay, I swear." He nodded and held my hand until we got outside of the bus.

*timeskipppp*

I was sat by the stage and watched Awsten play, when Nixie came and tapped my shoulder.

"Hey Alex?" She asked.

"Yeah?"

"What have you eaten today?"

"I had something when I was with Awsten."

"Why are you lying?"

"Nixie-" I began to protest, but I looked up and saw that I definitely wasn't getting out of this. "Sorry..."

"I'm gonna get you a granola bar or something, don't go anywhere."

"Okay," I sighed.

I waited until Parx were finished on stage and Nixie still wasn't back. I decided to go with Awsten back to his bus, but I started to feel light headed before we even got out of the venue.

"Alex, what's wrong?" Awsten asked. "Do you need to sit down?"

"I- uh-" I knew exactly what was happening. "Yeah-" I said, knowing it was too late.

And then I passed out.
