YOO SOYEON

"Yoo Soyeon! Why are you here?"Ten—Youngheum— said. "Reading."I said, showing him the comic I'm reading and giving him a small smile. "You can sit down if you want."I said, pointing to the empty chair in front of me and he immediaty sits down.

"How was Doyoung?"He asked and I furrowed my eyebrow. "Was he annoying last night?"He asked and I chuckled, nodding. "I just want to stomp on his foot at least once, that's how annoying he is."I explained and he laugh. "I totally agree! I'd do the same. I need to go easy on him once in a while"He said, leaning forward on his seat.

"What are you reading?"He asked. "It's a story about a young girl from Japan. It's a funny comic to read."I chuckled. "I didn't know you read comics. You're always studying 24/7."He said and I laugh. "It's weekend. I don't really have to study. I'm done with everything."I said with a smile and he nod. "I'm gonna order some drink first, I'll be back."He said, standing up from his chair and I nod.

It didn't take him long to came back and sit himself down in front of me. "What are your plans today?"He asked. "I'm just gonna walk around. I don't really have a plan today."I said and he nod. "Do you have any plans?"I asked and he shook his head. "I'm free for the whole day."He said with a shrug and I nod.

"I heard you were kicked out of the dance team?"I asked and he nod, sighing. "Yeah, I was thinking of quitting anyways."He said with a slight smile on his lips. "Why? I really enjoyed seeing you dance."I said and he grins. "I'll dance for you some day."He said. His name was called and he stood up. "I need to pick up my order, I'll be back."He said, standing up. I took a sip from my chocolate milk and mark where I left off in my book.

"Should we go for a walk then?"He asked once he got back and I nod. "Sure,"I said, slinging my bag and grabbing my drink. I throw away my trash before we left the shop. "I'm glad we're almost over with winter."Youngheum said and I nod. "Ah, Youngheum-"

"You can call me Ten, that name is too long to say."He said and I nod, chuckling. "Right, Ten. Can you help me pick a shirt for my brother? It's gonna be his birthday soon."I said and he nod. "Gladly, where to?"He asked with a smile on his face. "There's this store I found, it's not that far."I said leading the way and he followed beside me. I took a sip from my drink and so does he.

"You like chocolate?"He asked pointing to the drink in my hand and I nod. "It's nice. Fits in every season."I said and he agreed. "It's my favorite as well."He said. We both arrived at the clothing store and walked inside. The worker came to us and show us the new arrival of the store. She left us to choose and we both wander around the store. I've picked a couple shirt and we both walked around while talking.

"How many clothes are you gonna buy him?"He asked. "As much as I can pay. I'm tired hearing my brothers bickering because of clothes."I said and he laugh. "Happens to me and Jaehyun a couple times."He said and I laugh. We both walked towards the rack and my phone dinged.

Lucas: how was your tutoring lesson?

"Lucas? I knew there's something going on between you two!"Ten said from beside me and I shook my head. "No that's just, weird."I said with a laugh. "Really? Why so?"He asked, looking at me. I typed in a quick reply before answering him. "We've been friends for so long. It's weird to think about being in a relationship with him"I said with a small laugh.

"Will you think that way about me too then?"He asked and I turned towards him. "What?"I asked and he shrugged. "Nothing."He said with a grin. I rolled my eyes playfully and looked at the clothes on top of the rack. "Do you think that looks nice?"I asked pointing to a specific shirt and he nod. "Definitely. I might buy one for myself too."He said. I reach my hand up and went on my tippy toes, trying to reach for the shirt.

A snort was heard and I turn around. "I'm here for a reason. Why don't you ask for my help?"Ten asked with a laugh following right after. He grabs the shirt from the rack and gives it to me. He was standing too close and I let out a fake cough. "Thank you."I said, grabbing the shirt from him and he grins.

We both walk further back and saw hoodies. I immediately walked towards it and looked around, grabbing a few that looks nice. "Look at this, you could drown in this hoodie."Ten said holding an oversized hoodie in front of my body. We both laughed and I looked around the racks. I picked another one before counting how many tops I've bought. "I think this is enough."I said and we both walked towards the register. "I'll be outside, I need to answer this call."He said and I nod. "Is this all?"The register asked and I nod.

"This one too, please."A familiar voice said and I looked beside me to see Doyoung. "Hey, How long were you here? I didn't see you."I said and he took out his card.

"I can pay—"

He swipe his card even before I could stop him. He glance at me and put his card back inside his wallet. "Long enough to know you're having a good time with Ten."He said, grabbing the bag and thanking the person behind the counter. I did the same too before catching up to him. "Doyoung!"I said, catching up to him. Ten ended his call and turned around. "Oh? It is you. I thought it was someone else."Ten said with a smile on his face.

"I'm taking her home."Doyoung said to Ten and I looked at him. "Great! I have something to take care of anyways. Soyeon-ah, give me your phone."Ten said and I nod, placing my phone on his palm. He typed a few things in before returning it back to me. "I placed in my number. Text me when you get home!"He said, waving at me and I smile, giving him a wave too.

Doyoung didn't say anything and walked towards the opposite direction. "Let me carry that."I said, reaching my hand down towards the bag but he pulled away. "There's my things too. I'll carry it."He said. "But it was mostly my clothes so—"I stopped when he looked down at me. "I'll carry it."He said sternly. "Thanks."I said, looking away.

"You were smiling a lot today."He said as his car finally came into view. "Y—yeah, he's a funny guy."I said, clearing my throat. "Do you not find me funny?"He asked. "Huh?"I said and he ignored me. I furrowed my eyebrows and he kept on walking. It was silence after that as he opened the car and we both walked inside.

He reached towards the backseat, placing the bag before starting the car. He drove out of the parking lot, out towards the streets. "He's a bad guy."He stated. "Oh."I muttered, looking down at my hands. "We're all are, actually."He said and I looked at him. "We?"I asked, questioning who the other ones are.

"Jaehyun, Ten, and me."

"I've done bad things, Soyeon-ah."He said and I stayed silent. "Drag racing isn't that, bad. I guess."I said quietly, making him let out a laugh. "That was nothing, we all did something worse than that."He said.

"Like what?"I asked, looking at him. "It's too soon for you to know. I don't want to push you away for now."He said, glancing at me. "You don't look like a bad guy."I muttered. "You don't have to look scary to be a bad guy. There's plenty of man with innocent looks but does inhumane things."He said, glancing at me. It was silent for the rest of the ride. My mind was full of thought about what they could possibly be doing.

He finally stopped in front of my house and grabbed the bag from the backseat. He looked inside the bag and grabbed his clothes. "Here."He said, giving me the bag and I grabbed it from him. "Thank you," I said giving him a smile. I close the door behind me and he rolled down the window.

"Don't stay up. I'm picking you up tomorrow."He said, rolling up the window before driving away.
