YOO SOYEON

The first day back at school was stressful. All I did was making up the tests and quiz I missed while also getting some of the works and papers that Lucas and Doyoung turned in for me. I skipped lunch just to finish up my homeworks. I was planning to visit Jaehyun after school today.

"Soyeon-ah, let's eat."Lucas whined, resting his head on my shoulder and I push him away. "You go ahead, I need to finish these."I said, continuing my work. "But it's not fun eating alone. Yeri transferred into cyber school, I don't wanna eat alone."He huffed. "One more."I said, finishing up my work before moving to the last problem of the last pack. He groans and let his head dangle from his seat, his limbs all spread out.

"Why don't you do it after school anyways?"He asked.

"I'm visiting Jaehyun."I said.

"After that."

"I have to study."

"Well yeah, after you study?"

"I need sleep too you know."I said and he huffed. He went silent and I finish up the last question. I tidy the returned papers in order by dates before standing up. "Let's eat!"Lucas said and I shook my head. "I'm turning this in."I said and he sigh, walking beside me.

We went pass Doyoung and saw him with Ten. "Youngheum! Can I have some?"Lucas asked, and Ten nod, giving a new pack of snacks towards Lucas. "I owe you one, you saved me."Lucas said making Ten laugh and I rolled my eyes. "Soyeon-ah, hey!"Ten said, grinning and waving at me. "Where are you going?"Ten asked. "I'm turning these in."I said, showing the papers I got from Lucas yesterday. "I can turn these in for you. Have you eat lunch?"Ten asked, taking the papers from my hand.

"No, I didn't get to yet."I said and Doyoung looked at me. "Go eat. Be careful of your shoulder."Doyoung said, pushing Ten forward without giving me another glance. Ten turns around, grinning and waving at me. I did the same and Lucas looked at me. "What?"I asked. "You might have a few guys liking you at once."Lucas said. "Who will be the lucky guy?"Lucas asked, nudging me and I land a pinch on his stomach, making him groan in pain. "Ah— yah! Do you wanna die?"Lucas yelled, wrapping his arm around my neck and dragging me with him, not even bothering to bending down a little. I stand on my tippy toes while whining.

"Yah! Wong Yukhei!"I yelled, slapping his arm, making him burst out laughing while I was still yelling at him.

I knock lightly on the door and wait for the response inside. "Come in,"Jaehyun's muffled voice said and I open the door. "Oh! Soyeon-ah!"Jaehyun grinned and I walk towards him. "I'm not really sure what you like."I said, giving him some snacks I bought from the convenience store. "Thank you! I'll enjoy this."He grinned, taking the plastic bag from my hand. "Sit down,"He said and I sit down, dragging the chair closer to his bed.

"I'm really sorry, I shouldn—"

"It's fine, we didn't get hurt that much. I didn't get hurt that much because of you, so thank you for that."I said and he smile softly. "How was school?"He asked looking at me with a soft smile on his lips. "Stressful, Lucas told me we don't have any tests but we did. A lot."I said and he chuckle. "Did you do well?"He asked, smoothing my hair. I could feel the heat rushing up my cheeks and I nod shyly. "Y—yeah, it was from the things I learnt at the hospital."I said. "Good girl, you did good today."He smile.

"When will you get discharged?"I asked as he smooths my hair. "In two weeks. I wish I could leave faster though."He said and I smile. "Do you need any help on your schoolwork?"He asked and I shook my head. "I finished it all during lunch today."I said, chuckling. "You ate lunch though, right?"He asked and I nod. "Lucas keeps whining on my ear to eat lunch."I said and he laugh.

"I should thank him for that then."He said. The room fell silent and the only sound was from the TV that is currently playing a variety show. His face has some scars that is starting to fade and a square cotton was placed on his head.

"Are you getting better?"I asked and he nod. "I'm fine now. I'll get out soon."He said. "You should. You probably have a lot of homeworks to do."I said with a teasing smile. "Why would you remind me of that?"He whine and I laugh.

"I'm gonna annoy you to help me with my homeworks."He said. "Sure."I said and he looked at me. "Really?"He asked and I nod. He smiled before chuckling lightly. "You're a really good person."He said, patting my head lightly. His pink hair was starting to fade, the blonde hair starting to show. "Your pink hair is fading."I point out and he nod. "What color should I dye it next?"He asked. "Brown?"I asked. "Sticking with the natural color huh?"He asked and I laugh lightly

"Alright, I'll dye it brown."He said. He made small random talks and I laugh at his joke once in a while. The door opens and we both turn our heads towards the door. Doyoung walked in and he stops once he saw the two of us. He looked at the time before turning his gaze back at me. "Why are you here?"Doyoung asked.

"She was visiting me."Jaehyun aswered right before I could. "It's almost 7, aren't you going home?"Doyoung asked. I looked at the time. "Oh, right!"I said, standing up from the seat.

"Do you have a ride home?"Jaehyun asked. "I'm taking the bus."I said. "Ah, stay safe then. Good luck on your tests tomorrow!"He said and I nod, thanking him. I grab my bag from the ground and sling it over my shoulder. "Get better, I'll help you with your homeworks."I said and he grinned. "I will."He said. "See you."I said to the two of them and walked out of the room, closing the door behind me.

I walked out of the hospital and walk towards the bus stop. I waited for the bus to arrive and took a seat. There was only a few people sitting, waiting for the bus. I look down at my shoes and kick off the rocks on the ground.

The people next to me slowly started to leave and I look at the time. It's been at least fifteen minutes and I make sure that I'm in the correct bus stop.

"Why isn't it coming?"I muttered, once I saw that I am in the correct bus stop. I sit back down and took out my phone. Two men sit down at the seat beside me and kept glancing towards my direction. I tried my best to ignore them and my phone buzzed, Doyoung's name popping up on the caller ID.

"Hello?"I said through the phone. "Stand up and walk back inside."He said, his voice is really stern. "What?"I asked. "Do as I say, stand up."He said and I stand up from my seat. I could feel the gaze of the two men following my every move.

"Walk inside the hospital, I'll meet you here."He said. "Stay on the phone."He added and I walked back towards the hospital. The two men stood up and started to tail behind me slowly.

"Doyoung,"I said. "I know. I'm at the lobby. Keep walking."He said and I fasten my pace. Once I'm inside the lobby, I immediately spots Doyoung. I walk towards him and saw two men on each side looking at me, dressed similarly as the man outside. "Don't come to me."He said, looking at me and I stopped, my heart starting to race. "What is happening?"I asked and he walked towards me.

One of the men followed Doyoung's move and Doyoung grabbed my hand, his fingers lacing through mine. We both put our phones away and I glance at him. "What is happening?"I asked quietly and he stayed silent. We both walk towards his car and there was another two men at the parking lot.

I look around and saw the other men at the bus stop and inside the hospital. Doyoung pulled me behind his back and look around. "I really hope you know how to punch someone."Doyoung said.
