"Slow down, I don't want you to choke on yourself."I said, wiping the soup that dripped down from Soyeon's mouth.

"I can eat this alone. You go ahead and go to school. It's—"

"I'll be okay if I'm late."I said, cutting her off. "You're talented in cutting people off mid-sentence."She said and I stare at her coldly. She stiffen up and cleared her throat, looking away. A slight smile formed into my face and I grab the last spoonful of fried rice, taking out the peas. "Here, last one."I said, placing it near her mouth. She eats it from the spoon and I cleaned everything up, placing the empty tray away.

I poured her a glass full of water and gave it to her. "Is anyone gonna discharge you?"I asked, grabbing my bag. "I've told Jungwoo I'll be discharged today. I'll double text him."She said and I nod. "I'll be back here again after school. Tell me if no one's signing the papers. I'm leaving."I said and she nod, waving at me. "Pay attention in class!"She said after me as I close the door. A smile immediately made its way into my face and I walk towards my car.

"Kim Doyoung!"A voice said behind me as I made my way towards the classroom. I glance behind me and saw Lucas. He's been visiting Soyeon after school, which also means he ride with me to the hospital almost everyday. "You should know that I am getting irritated by you lately."I said, walking ahead of him.

"After all these weeks and time we've spent?"He asked and I rolled my eyes. "Hurry up, what do you wanna talk about?"I asked, walking inside the classroom. "Soyeon is getting discharged today right? How is she? I didn't get to visit her yesterday."He explained.

"The usual. She's getting better."I said, taking the homeworks from last night. "Did she do her homeworks too?"He asked and I nod, taking out her papers. "There's only a few tests for her to do. She'll do fine."Lucas said.

"Can I go to the hospital with you again today? My younger brother is using my car today."He said. "The bus."I said. "I don't have my metrocard."He said and I rolled my eyes. "Whatever."I said and he grinned. "Thank you! I'll see you after school."He said, raising his hand, in hope for a high-five. I looked at him before raising my hand up. He grins and before he could slap my hand, I move mine away and act like nothing happened.

"Is Jungwoo gonna be here?"Lucas asked, sitting beside her. He gave her new clothes and she grabbed it. She was no longer using an IV and her shoulder is getting better day by day. The sling around her shoulder was taken off a week ago and she was able to do most things by herself now. "Maybe. I've texted him to come and discharge me."She said, walking towards the bathroom. Lucas grabbed a plastic bag and took out a bag of chip. "Soyeon-ah, I'm eating your chip!"He yelled. "Yeah, don't care."She yelled back.

My phone buzzed and I took it out of my pocket.

Ten: Is Soyeon getting discharged today? Is she out of the hospital yet?

Doyoung: yes and no.

Ten: Alright. Need any help?

Doyoung: no. we'll be out soon. we're still doing the delivery tonight?

Ten: Yes. Everything is ready. We only need to wait for the night.

I left him on read and lock my phone, making sure the I exit the app. Soyeon walked out soon after and the door was knocked a few times before Jungwoo walked in. "Lucas, Doyoung. You're all here. Sorry it took a while, I was stuck on a traffic."Jungwoo said with a smile, patting Soyeon's head. "It's alright."She said with a small smile. We've packed her things, which only turns out to be one full backpack, and we walked out of the room.

The two payed their bills and Lucas stand beside me, still eating the chips. "Did you buy this? I need to stock these up, these are good."Lucas said and I chuckled silently at him. Both Jungwoo and Soyeon went back a few moments later and Jungwoo immediately left again since he still has another classes to attend.

"Where do you wanna go?"I asked, grabbing the backpack from her right hand. "I'm a bit hungry."She said. "I know a place. Do you like rice cakes?"Lucas asked me and I nod. "Let's go. I'm hungry."Lucas said.

"Two rice cakes and three drinks."Lucas said. "Is there anything else?"The waiter asked. "What do you guys want?"Lucas asked. "Patbingsoo."Soyeon said. The waiter scribbled it down on the note pad before nodding. "I'll be back soon with your order."She said, grabbing the menu. "Thank you."The two of them said.

"Do you like patbingsoo?"Lucas asked me. "Yeah."I said. "Hey, I approve of him."Lucas said, nudging Soyeon's left arm and she punched his shoulder. I smile lightly and looked away.

"Wanna die?"Soyeon asked and Lucas sneered at her. "You're a midget. You can't even reach my forehead, sit down."Lucas said, rolling his eyes playfully. "Hey!"Soyeon said and Lucas burst out into laughter. The two started to bicker and I watched them. It was somehow entertaining, Lucas always finds a way to throw stupid but smart comebacks everytime. The food arrives soon and the two immediately digs in.

"You know, I would honestly dye my hair blonde if you date someone."Lucas said to Soyeon. "Enjoy your black hair then."She said, stabbing one of the rice cake and eating it. "Or no, I expect too much. At least a date."Lucas said. "Kinda did."I answered for her and his eyes went wide. "No way. You both?"He asked, looking at us and she shook her head. "No, Jaehyun."She said. "Date? You went on a date with Jaehyun? Was it right after that night?"Lucas asked with a smile and she nod shyly.

"What did you two do? Did you—"Lucas stopped to make a kissing sound with his mouth. "Do you have a death wish?"She asked and he stops, grinning. "I guess you don't."Lucas said eating the patbingsoo. I smile slightly as I took a bite from the food.

"What about you Doyoung, I'm sure he had girlfriends."Lucas said and Soyeon hit his shoulder. "Ow!"Lucas hissed, and Soyeon glared at him. "Yeah, I did. One."I answered, eating another rice cake.

"You did? What do you think about Soyeon?"Lucas asked. "Wong Yukhei!"She yelled and he bursts out laughing. I looked at her and smile slightly. Her face was red as she was hitting Lucas over and over, while the two of them laugh.

My phone buzzed and I set down the stick. I grabbed my phone and read the message.

Ten: The police were at the warehouse.

I quickly stand up and the two of them looked up. I locked my phone and glanced at them. "Why? Did something happen?"Soyeon asked. "Yes. Can you go home alone? I really need to go."I said and she nod. "Yeah, take care!"She said and I nod slightly, quickly saying my goodbye. I rushed towards my car and immediately left, my facial expression turning hard as I speed off towards the warehouse.
