P.o.v. Shawn

I woke up early. I got out of bed, took a little shower and got dressed. I went downstairs. "Goodmorning" I said when I saw Ava standing. She turned around and smiled at me. "Goodmorning. I've made breakfast. Do you like eggs?" she asked. I nodded and sat down. "Thank you so much" I replied. "That's okay honey" she said.

I ate my breakfast. "Thank you so much for everything" I thanked them again. I went upstairs and took my car keys and phone.

You have 219 new messages.

What? What was going on? I opened it saw a post from Sophia. I was tagged in it by hundreds of fans. What?

I read some of the texts. Oh god no? Shawnia? Really? It sounded okay I guess? Shawn, focus!

I clicked on Sophia's profile and read a few of her posts. I smiled immediately. She's so beautiful.

All of a sudden I realized that I can see where she lives now. I looked at her information, Cheyenne Wyoming, Amercia.

Yes, George was right and she lives in the capital city. I am going to find her. Thanks fans. I owe you this one.

I went downstairs and couldn't stop smiling. "Why are you smiling?" Ava asked. "I found her on Facebook. She lives in Cheyenne in Wyoming. I am going to find her." I explained. She touched my shoulder. "That's great" she yelled enthusiastically. I started to laugh.

"I should get going" I said. Ava nodded. "Here is my phone number! Keep me updated" she said. I nodded, gave her a kiss on the cheeck and opened the door. "Bye" I said. "Bye" she answered. I walked towards my car and drove away.

It was a long driveway, almost 8 hours but it was worth it. I had to find her.

🌸

I was halfway and decided to make a little stop. I was getting tired and hungry. I drove to a little town. I parked my car and searched for a restaurant.

"Hi" the waitress said with a wink. I rolled my eyes. "Hi" I said politely. She kept staring at me. "Can I maybe order?" I asked a little irritated. "Yeah sure. What do you want sweety?" she asked. "A coke and a burger with fries please" I responded. "Will be right there" she said with a wink. She turned around and left.

I hate that kind of girls. They think they're perfect. They wear a lot of make up and believe they are beautiful. Well I don't think that is called being a beauty.

She came back and gave me my order. "My phone number. Call me" she whispered in my ear. I rolled my eyes. "No thank you" I answered politely. Her eyes were big and she was surprised.

"Oh come on" she said while she was touching my shoulder. "Can you please let go of me and leave? That's would be very nice." I said surprisingly calm. She turned around and walked away angrily.

I started to eat. I sometimes really hate it to be polite to people. I just wanted to yell at that girl but I just can't. My record label would kill me. It would end up all over the news and my career will be over then.

I finished my meal, paid and left the restaurant. I walked back towards the car when some fans recognized me.

"Oh my god Shawn" they yelled. I started to laugh. "Can we uh have a picture maybe?" the girl asked nervously. "Sure" I said laughing. We took some pictures. "Bye" I said with a smile. I turned around and walked back towards the car.

I started the car and drove away. My song came on the radio.

"Help me, it's like the walls are caving in
Sometimes I feel like giving up
But I just can't
It isn't in my blood" I sang along. It's still strange to hear your own voice on the radio. I guess I'm never going to get used to that.

I remember the first time I heard my song. My mom, Aaliyah and I were on our way to go shopping. We were singing loudly. They were so proud of me. My dream finally came true. That memory immediately created a smile on my face.

I'm close with my family. I love them more than anything. They are my everything and I would do anything for them.

🌸

I'm here in Cheyenne. It's bigger than I thought it would be but that isn't going to stop me. I went to an hotel.

"Hi, is there still a room available for one person?" I asked politely. "No, there is ..." the woman looked at me and stopped talking. "You're Shawn Mendes" she gasped. I nodded and smiled a little. This always works. "I'll uh see. Wait a moment" she said. She stood up and walked away.

"Hi, I'm Rodrigo the owner." a man said with a smile. He held out his hand and I shook it. "Hi, I'm wondering if you still have a room for one person?" I asked politely. "You're that famous boy?" he asked. I laughed and nodded.

"This could be a good advertisement for our hotel." he said. "Yeah sure I'll do anything" I answered. "Do you want to give a performance in the evenings? I have an extra room available for guests who take care of our entertainment" he explained. "Sure. As long as I get a room." I said enthusiastically. "Great" the guy said cheerfully.

"Fiona will show you your room" he continued. I turned around and saw Fiona standing. "Thank you so much" I said to Rodrigo. I took my stuff and followed Fiona.

"This is it" she said when she stopped in front of a door. She gave me the key. I thanked her and opened the door.

"What time do I actually have to perform?" I asked Fiona. "From 10 p.m. until 11 p.m." she responded with a smile. "Okay thanks" I answered. She turned around and walked away.

I opened the door and walked inside the room. I looked at my phone. It was 6 p.m. so I still had a lot of time left. Maybe I should make a quick walk to get to know the city.

I took my coat and left again.

How was your day?

Oh guys I went to Ghana last summer and it was amazing. We were there 3 weeks and it's totally different to Europe.

People are really nice there but now I have a problem. I met a few guys there but they keep texting me like

"Do you have a boyfriend"
"Do you like black men"
"Why don't you have a boyfriend"
...

And tbh I'm going crazy. What should I do?

Cause those people took care of me when I was there. They gave me food, some place to sleep, water and everything. I don't want to sound rude to them but I really want them to stop texting.

I need your advice...
