P.o.v. Sophia

"He hates me" I responded.

"No he doesn't" I heard someone say. I looked up and saw Shawn standing there. "Shawn" I whispered. Tears were filling my eyes again.

He walked towards me and just held me. "Shh it's okay" he tried to calm me. I looked at him.

He let go of me and sat down on the bed. "I love you Sophia. I really do. And I don't like this idea either but if it means that I can still see you... I mean I'd kill someone to keep seeing and dating you." he explained calmly.

It was quiet for a moment until he started talking again. "I really don't want to lose you, Soph" he whispered crying. He looked into my eyes and held my hands. "I also don't want to lose you" I answered.

We sat there for a while. We didn't say a word. Why does this has to be so hard? I sighed deeply.

"I know you have to give up a lot and I'm really sorry to ask that from you but I don't want to miss you for a second. If you don't want this I'd completely understand but I definitely miss you, miss us." he said.

I didn't know what to say for a moment. "This is going to be hard" I sighed. "I'll be right next to you" he supported me. I gave him a smile.

"What do they expect from us?" I asked. "We have to go on dates in public, do some interviews and Andrew suggested that you could come on tour with me." Shawn explained.

"But what about my job? Money for the trip? Jodie?" I asked again. "We arranged this with the school. They just gave you some time off and you can go back later, if you still want to teach there. Everything is settled. We'll pay your trip and Jodie can come along. We leave in a few weeks." he responded softly.

I was thinking. Should I do this? Are people going to hate on me? But I do love Shawn! I couldn't miss him. And everything has been settled...

"Okay" I said softly. He looked at me with big eyes. "Okay like in okay okay?" he asked. I laughed and nodded.

"Oh my god. YES! I LOVE YOU" he yelled enthusiastically. I laughed out loud. He hugged me and kissed me.

I hope I've made the right decision.

It's a few days later. "Soph? Are you ready?" Shawn yelled.  I nodded until I realized that he couldn't see me. "I'll be there in a sec" I yelled.

Okay Soph. Calm down. Just breathe in and out. Just keep breathing.

I flushed the toilet and opened the door. I saw Shawn standing there. "You're nervous" he noticed. I nodded softly and smiled.

He held my hands. "It's going to be fine. I'm right here, okay? We're going to do this together" he said. "What if they don't like me?" I asked. "That's not possible" he whispered in my ear.

He took my hand and we walked outside. Our car was already waiting. It looked like the driveway lasted for centuries but it still wasn't long enough.

Shawn opened my door. "We're here" he said. I nodded and tried to stay calm. I walked towards the big building.

I tried to open the door. "I think we're at the wrong place" I said. Shawn started to laugh. "I think you have to read. It says pulling not pushing" he replied. Oh shit. My cheeks were red. Why does this always happen to me? The universe hates me...

"We have some special news for all of you. Shawn Mendes is here ladies and gentlemen and he has some big news. Find out more after this song 'thank you next' by Ariana Grande" the radio host said.

He stood up and walked towards us. "Hi, I'm Adam. Good to see you again Shawn." he said. Shawn gave him a hand. "I'm happy to be here, like always" he answered.

Adam looked at me. "I'm Sophia" I said while holding out my hand. "Nice to meet you. Are you guys ready?" he asked. I looked at Shawn and he nodded. I smiled softly and we sat down.

"We have a special guest. Shawn Mendes, welcome! How are you?" Adam asked. "Hi Adam, thank you. And I'm great actually because I have some exciting news" Shawn responded.

"And what's that?" Adam asked. "Well some of you have noticed already that I'm spending my time lately with an incredible woman and I'm happy to call that woman the love of my life" he said.

I smiled. His words were so sweet. "And she's here with us! Tell us a little bit about yourself?" Adam asked me. "Well, I'm Sophia and I'm 24 years old." I answered.

"Where did you guys meet?" Adam asked. "There was a storm when I wanted to get home. I went to a house to ask for help with my car and that's when Soph came out to rescue me." Shawn said while looking in my eyes.

Adam asked us a few more questions. It wasn't as bad as I thought it would be. "Thank you very much guys and good luck" Adam said. We thanked him, said goodbye to the listeners and we left the studio.

"You were amazing" Shawn yelled enthusiastically. "So were you" I answered with a smile.

"Let's go eat something. I'm starving and we deserved it" Shawn suggested. I nodded. This was the best plan ever.

We got into the car. We turned on the music and we sang along as loud as we could. It was out of tune but we had a lot of fun.

Scrolling through my notes

"Hey, this is your song. I love it" I said cheerfully. He smiled at me. I sang along and so did he. We had the time of our lives.
