P.o.v. Sophia

"Come on Sophia. Think" I whispered to myself. "Shit" I continued when I saw the park where I met Demi.

I walked though the park when I saw somebody laying on a bench. I walked towards that person. She was still awake.

"Demi?" I asked surprised when I saw her face. "Oh Sophia. What are you doing here... again?" she asked. "I'm lost. I don't know how to get back to my hotel but more important what are you doing here?" I asked.

She looked at her hands. "Uh I... I..." she stumbled. Tears were filling her eyes. I sat next to her and hugged her.

"You ran away?" I asked. "My dad died and my mother is only drinking." she whispered. "Did she hit you?" I asked softly. She nodded. "Oh babe" I said. I held her closely.

"You wanna come with me?" I asked. "Can I?" she responded shy. I nodded.

We stood up. "I should call Shawn" I sighed. I took my phone and called him.

Shawn: oh my god Soph! Where are you? Are you okay? I'm so sorry.
You: not now. You need to come and get us.
Shawn: us?
You: yeah i'll explain later
Shawn: where are you?
You: I'll text you the adress.
Shawn: Okay and Soph?
You: Yes?
Shawn: I'm sorry. I didn't mean to push you.
You: We'll talk later about that. Bye

I ended the call and sended him the adress. "You're having a fight?" Demi asked. I sighed and nodded. "You just need to talk to him" she continued. I smiled at her.

We talked until Shawn got here. Apparently she is 17 years old. She wants to live on her own but she can't because she isn't 18 years old yet. Her stepmother is a monster. Just like Cinderella but then in real life.

"Sophia?" Shawn asked. I turned around and saw him standing there. We stood up and followed him.

Demi got in the car. "Soph? I'm really sorry" Shawn whispered. "Not now, Shawn" I said. I opened the door and we left.

"Demi if you want you can take a shower. This is the key of your room. I'll come by later, okay?" I asked. She nodded and hugged me. "Thank you so much" she whispered. "You're welcome" I responded.

I turned around and looked at Shawn. "We need to talk" I said. He nodded and we went to our room.

"Soph, I shouldn't have pushed you like this. I'm really sorry." he said softly. "I just... You know that I don't want all this attention." I explained.

He looked at his hands. "I know. I just wanted to boost your music career. You're really good and I just think it's a shame if you don't do something with this talent" he explained.

I looked at him. "Look if you really don't want this, than you don't need to do this. But think about it." Shawn continued. "What if they don't like it? I just..." I responded.

He took my hands. "Soph. You're really good. You don't realize how good you are. Your voice is a gift. And all my fans love you already. You'll always get negative comments but those people are just jealous. This would be an amazing opportunity and it is just until Alessia gets better" Shawn explained.

I sighed deeply. Should I do this? I don't know. Oh god damn it.

Shawn placed his hands under my chin. He forced me to look into his eyes. His head came closer and he kissed me gently.

"I'm sorry" he whispered. I smiled. "It's okay." I answered.

"I should check on Demi" I interrupted our moment. "You still have a lot to explain" Shawn said. I nodded. "Later" I responded. I gave him a kiss and left.

"Oh hi Soph" Demi said when she opened the door. "You enjoyed the shower?" I asked. She nodded and smiled.

"Thank you for doing this" she said. I smiled at her. "When are you turning 18?" I asked. "In a month" she answered with a sigh.

"So what's the plan?" I asked. She shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know to be honest" she answered.

"Maybe I can ask Andrew to give you a job? Then you can tour with us?" I asked. Demi looked at me. "Would that be possible?" she asked. I shrugged my shoulders. "I can try." I said.

"I owe you so much" she said. I smiled at her. "It's okay" I responded.

"How did it go with Shawn?" she asked. "We're okay" I answered smiling.

"So you are going to sing tomorrow?" she asked. "I don't know" I sighed deeply. "You should do it. It's an incredible opportunity" she tried to convince me. "I'll think about it" I answered her.

"Do you need anything else?" I asked. She shook her head. "I'll see you tomorrow okay? Goodnight" I said.

"Is she okay?" Shawn asked. I nodded. I checked my phone. It was already 23.43 and I was pretty tired.

"Tired?" Shawn asked. I looked at him and nodded. "We'll talk tomorrow" he continued. I smiled. "I'll explain you everything tomorrow" I responded.

We gave me a kiss and we went to bed. "Goodnight" he said. "Sweet dreams" I answered.

I woke up and looked at Shawn. He was still sleeping. I took my phone but of course I had to be clumsy again. My phone fell on the ground. "Shit" I whispered.

"What are you doing?" Shawn asked still tired. "I'm sorry" I apologized. He smiled. "It's okay" he answered.

"What time is it?" he asked. "Ten o'clock" I responded. "Oh okay. You still need to explain me some things" he said. I nodded and started to explain everything.

"Wow" he answered when I ended my story. I nodded. "Do you think Andrew will give her a job?" I asked. He shrugged his shoulders. "Maybe? I don't know" he answered.

"I'm hungry" I said all of a sudden. Shawn just laughed. We got out of bed, got dressed and went downstairs.

"FOOD" I yelled and everyone was laughing with me. Demi was also already downstairs and I saw her smiling. She was talking with Megan. This made me happy.
