In the middle of nowhere

P.o.v. Shawn

I woke up early. I opened my eyes but didn't know where I was until I saw Sophia laying next to me. I smiled. She's beautiful even when she sleeps.

I got out of bed and went downstairs. I walked into the kitchen and opened the fridge. "Eggs" I said to myself. I grabbed them.

I was baking them when I called my mom. "Mom, I found her" I said enthusiastically. "Really? That's amazing, son" she answered. "Can we meet her?" she asked immediately. I started to laugh. "I hope so. I really do" I answered. "Perfect. But now I'm going back to bed. It's way too early" my mom said. "Okay" I said laughing.

I turned around to place my phone on the table when I saw Sophia standing. She was smiling. She walked towards me. "Goodmorning" I said. "Goodmorning" she answered while she was hugging me.

"I made us breakfast" I said. She smiled and looked at the eggs. "Amazing" she responded. "Do you want coffee?" she asked. I shook my head.

We were eating when all of a sudden she asked me "So what now?" I frowned my eyebrows. "What do you mean?" I asked. "What are we? Cause we're not together but we're almost acting like a couple and I don't know I'm just confused" she explained.

It was quiet. We both didn't say a word. "I don't know. Do you want to be a thing?" I whispered. She looked at me and shrugged her shoulders. "I don't know. I'm just... I don't know" she responded.

"You're scared right?" I asked. She nodded. I took her hand. "I won't hurt you again. I promise. But if you want to do this slowly, we'll do this slowly" I said. "Maybe that's for the best?" she asked. I nodded.

I was disappointed but I understood. She's scared that I'll hurt her again. I've made a big mistake but I won't make it again.

We had just finished breakfast. "Maybe I should go" I suggested. She looked at me. "You can stay a little longer if you want? I mean... We can watch a movie together?" she said. I smiled and nodded. "I'd love that" I answered.

We sat down and started to watch a movie. I wasn't really paying attention. Sophia got all my attention and it was worth it. She was so focused and it was adorable. I really hope that one day she can be mine.

"You're missing the film" she said all of a sudden. "It's worth it" I answered smiling. She looked into my eyes. I felt the urge to kiss her. What does she do to me?

I felt her lips on mine. This was just ... wow. I guess she thought the same. "Wow" Sophia said. I laughed and agreed.

She stood up and grabbed my hand. She walked towards her bedroom. She pushed me and I laid down on the bed. "I don't want to take it slow" she said. I was surprised. "Are you sure? I mean..." I responded. She nodded heavily.

We kissed, cuddled and did some other stuff that you all don't need to know about.

But now we were laying next to each other and we were trying to catch our breath. "This. Was. Amazing" Sophia said and I could only agree.

"Soph?" I asked. I turned around and looked at her. "Do you want to be my girlfriend?" I asked. She nodded. "Yes." she answered. I smiled and gave her another kiss.

"But we're still going on a first date" I responded. "Where are we going?" she asked curiously. I shrugged my shoulders. "Surprise" I answered. She rolled her eyes. "I hate surprises" she said and I started to laugh.

The day flew by very quickly. We didn't do much. I'm just enjoying being here with the most beautiful girl.

We ordered some pizza and talked a lot. "When do you have to go back?" Sophia asked. "I don't know. As soon as possible I guess. I left all of a sudden. My record label didn't even know that I left so they're probably not very happy" I explained. She nodded but didn't answer.

"What are you thinking?" I asked. I placed my hand under her chin and forced her to look at me. "How are we going to do this. You live there, I live here. You're constantly on tour. I can't leave this all behind. And not spending time together and get to know each other better is not an option. I mean..." she explained. I sighed. "I actually haven't thought about that" I explained. "But we'll find a solution" I continued. She nodded.

I really wanted to be with her but she was right. We had to be realistic and I had no idea how we had to make this work. In a few weeks I'll be leaving and we won't see each other for a long time. We still have to get to know each other. I know I love her but I do want to get to know her better and that won't be possible if we're separated.

I sighed deeply. She looked at me. "We'll find an solution" she said. I nodded. "I really hope so." I answered.

After an hour and half the movie had ended. "I really should go back to the hotel" I said. Sophia nodded. I gave her my phone number, in case she lost that piece paper from last time, and we said goodbye.

I entered the hotel and walked towards my room. There was laying an envelope with money. "Thank you. It was an amazing performance!" I read the note.

I took a shower. Afterwards I got dressed and I brushed my teeth quickly. I decided to go to bed. I was checking my instagram quicky when I got a message.

Sophia: Goodnight x 23.03
You: goodnight! 😘 23.04

I turned off my phone and went to bed. These last couple of days were crazy but I'm happy.

I found her and she forgave me. What else can you wish for?
