P.o.v. Sophia

"I have to rehearse today. What are you going to do?" Shawn asked. I looked at Demi but she shrugged her shoulders.

"I still have to talk to Andrew so we'll first come with you." I explained. Shawn nodded and we followed him.

"Oh Shawn you're here" Andrew said when we entered the room. "And Sophia. Good to see you to Andrew." I said laughing.

"Good to see you too, Sophia" Andrew responded laughing. "I need to ask you something" I continued. "Okay. Shawn you can start rehearsing. Let's go somewhere private" Andrew said. I nodded and followed him.

"So what's up?" Andrew asked. We sat down. "That girl who was with us? That's Demi. She uh... she kinda needs a job and I hoped that we could employ her here? On tour?" I asked.

"Oh uh. We don't really need someone" Andrew answered. I sighed. "Okay" I responded softly. I stood up and turned around.

"But..." he continued. I turned around again and looked hopefully at him. "We do still need a opening act for tonight. I heard you and Shawn talking. If you do the opening act. I'll employ Demi" he explained.

"Seriously?" I asked. He nodded. I sighed. I didn't want to do it but Demi really needed her job. I promised her that I would help her.

"Okay fine" I answered a little irritated. Andrew smiled. "Nice to do business with you" he said. "Yeah right" I mumbled. I stood up and turned around.

"Don't forget to rehearse" Andrew said. "Whatever" I answered uninterested. I really hated him at this moment.

"What's wrong? She didn't get the job right?" Shawn asked when I came back. I sighed. "No she got the job" I answered.

"Than what is the problem?" he asked. "I have to sing tonight. I had to do this or Demi wouldn't get a job" I explained.

Shawn sighed. "And you don't want this" he said. I shrugged my shoulders. "I don't have a choice. I promised to help her." I explained.

"You don't have to do this, Soph" Shawn said. I sighed. "You wanted this too. Maybe it's good to push my limits. Besides I already agreed" I responded with a little smile.

Shawn gave me a hug. "You're going to be amazing." he whispered in my ear. "Maybe we can sing some songs together?" I asked. He nodded. "I feel safer when you're with me" I continued. He smiled.

"Okay that sounded stupid. I'm sorry" I answered laughing. Shawn shook his head. "It's cute. I'll be by your side" he responded.

"And so will I." Demi interrupted us. "You're not alone" she continued. I smiled. "Thank you guys" I said.

"No thank you. Really. You've done so much for me." Demi said. She had tears in her eyes. I hugged her. "It's okay" I calmed her. "You can do this" Shawn said.

"Maybe we should try something?" Shawn suggested. I looked at him and nodded. That was a great idea.

I've never performed before or even stood on a podium. I was so nervous. Everything was new. "Don't stress. Okay?" Shawn whispered. "I try" I said softly.

"Are you ready?" the guy behind the piano asked. I nodded and took the microphone.

I sang but of course everything that could possibly go wrong went wrong. "Shit. I'm sorry" I said. I was shaking.

Shawn walked towards me and took my hands. "Let's do it again" Shawn said. We stood there togheter and looked at each other.

The music started to play and we sang together. I forgot everything and couldn't stop smiling.

Everyone was clapping when we ended. I looked shy around me and started blushing. "THAT WAS AWESOME" Andrew yelled. I looked at Shawn and smiled.

"We're doing this tonight!" Andrew shouted. "Maybe they should do the opening act together?" Demi suggested. "INCREDIBLE IDEA. YES YES AND ANOTHER YES" Andrew shouted enthusiastically.

I smiled and looked at Shawn. We chose some songs that we were going to sing and practiced all of them.

"You're amazing" Alessia said. She came to visit us and she was sick of laying in her bed. "That chemistry... you're incredible together" Megan agreed. "Thank you". I said softly.

We practiced the whole afternoon. We were eating right now. The doors were open and people could take their seats.

"You have to eat something" Shawn said. "I'm just nervous. I never eat when I'm stressed. I'll eat something afterwards" I explained. "No" he said.

He stood up and left. I was confuse but when he came back I couldn't stop smiling.

"Lasagne... you're favorite food. Now you have to eat something" he said. I nodded. I ate half. "I'm really full" I whispered. Shawn looked at my plate and nodded. "Okay" he said.

It was still two hours still we had to perform but I was so nervous. "Here" Shawn said when he offered me a pill.

"What is it?" I asked. "A relax pill." he explained. "Drugs?" I asked. He shook his head laughing. "I would never give you drugs, Soph. It's something organically" he explained.

I sighed relieved and accepted it. It could only help right?

"Five more minutes" a guy backstage said. "Don't forget to breath" Shawn said laughing.

I was so nervous. "Look at me." Shawn said. I looked into his beautiful eyes. "We're going to do this. You and me. Together. Just look at me when we sing, okay?" he said. I nodded.

"I love you" he said. "I love you too" I answered. He took my hand. "Three two one" that guy counted.

Shawn took my hand and we walked on stage. "Hello everyone" Shawn yelled.
