P.o.v. Sophia

Oh my god. Am I really doing this. There were so many people. I looked at the crowed and stood still. I don't know what happened I just froze.

Shawn walked towards me. "It's okay" he whispered. I nodded and looked at him. He grabbed my hand and we walked towards the center.

"Hi everyone. Alessia got sick unfortunately but we found someone else. Now it's her first time so be nice to her" he yelled through the microphone.

I smiled softly. Megan, Demi and Alessia looked at us from the sideline.

Shawn handed me a microphone. He grabbed my hand and we looked at each other.

The music started playing and Shawn sang his part. After some time I joined him.

We were standing close next to each other. I could feel his warmth. It made me feel safe.

We ended our song and everyone was yelling. It was crazy. I couldn't stop smiling.

I look at the girls. Alessia was smiling, Demi was jumping and Megan was screaming. I couldn't help it but laugh. Even Andrew was clapping and shouting enthusiastically.

"Isn't she amazing?" Shawn yelled. The whole crowd was screaming. I smiled a little awkwardly.

We sang some other songs togheter. I was really enjoying this. I was proud of myself.

I f*cking did it. AAAAAAAAAH!! Emma won't believe this.

"Thank you." Shawn shouted. I smiled at him. "And now we have something special for you" he continued.

I looked surprised at him. Special? What? We didn't plan anything special?

"Sophia is going to sing one of her own songs. It's called so bad" he said. I raised my eyebrow and shook my head.

"Excuse us for one second" I said through the microphone. I grabbed Shawn's hand and we went backstage.

"What the fuck" I whispered. "Shawn no" I continued. "Come one. One song... please?" he begged. "How do you even know about that song?" I asked. "I may have read your notebook?" he answered. "SHAWN!" I shouted.

He looked at me with puppy eyes. Oh he knows damn well that I can't handle those eyes. Damn it!

"Fine" I sighed deep. The whole crowd started screaming. Shawn started laughing. "Oh shit I forgot to turn off my microphone" I said guilty.

I walked towards the center of the stage. I looked at my feed when the music started playing.

It was so quiet that you could hear my heartbeat, which was way too fast.

I ended the song and everyone was clapping. I smiled. Oh my god. I couldn't believe it.

Shawn walked towards me and gave me a hug. The crowd started screaming and I laughed a little.

"You were amazing" he whispered in my ear. "Thank you. But don't you dare do this again Mendes" I threatened him. He smiled and whispered "I wouldn't dare".

He looked at me and I drowned in his eyes. He came closer and kissed me gently. Everyone started screaming even louder which made me laugh. He grabbed my hand and we sang one last song together.

"Thank you all" I yelled when we ended the song. I walked towards Megan, Alessia and Demi. Shawn started to sing one of his own songs.

"OH MY GOD. You are f*cking good" Alessia yelled. I smiled at her. I was never good with compliments. "This was amazing" Megan agreed.

"Did you really wrote that song?" Demi asked. I looked at my hands and nodded. "It was really good. I didn't know you wrote songs?" Megan said. I shrugged my shoulders.

I always liked it to write my own songs or change songs so they are really like 'mine'. It's kinda hard to describe. But anyway, I just don't want people to know about them. I never thought they were good enough.

"You can change your clothes if you want?" Andrew interrupted us. I looked at him and nodded. "Oh Sophia, you were really good" he continued. I smiled at him.

I went to Shawn's room and changed my clothes. Seriously my clothes were wet. I was sweating like a pig. No and not a little pig.

I got dressed and took a bottle of water. I may have underestimated performing. I thought it was chill but it's like a half triathlon.

I checked my phone. It was already 10 p.m. and I was tired. I sat down on the couch and checked my social media.

A lot of people were following me. I had a lot of negative comments but also a lot of positive ones. It was hard in the beginning but Shawn helped me get through it.

All of a sudden my phone started buzzing. "What? Shit" I said. I looked at my phone and Emma's name appeared.

Emma: O M G...
You: hahahah
Emma: you really did it?
You: I did. How do you know that already actually?
Emma: there are so many videos on Instagram
You: seriously? Oh god
Emma: oh my god. You're getting famous!! AAAAAAH!
You: Emmaa! Hahhaah! Besides what time is it?
Emma: 11p.m. Why?
You: oh shit I fell asleep.
Emma: is Shawn there?
You: no, he is still performing I guess.
Emma: oh thank him when you see him
You: why?
Emma: for pushing you
You: hahah funny
Emma: I'm serious. You wouldn't have done this without him.
You: maybe...
Emma: hahha anyway. I'm going to bed. We'll talk later.
You: okay!! Byee
Emma: Oh and Soph?
You: yes?
Emma: I'm really proud of you
You: thanks ems!
Emma: Goodnight!
You: Goodnight!
