"I am." Iris says and shrugs.
"Are you good enough to hack the countries entire electronic system? Televisions, computers, radio stations, all the huge banners in Times Square--everything."
She looks shocked and says, "Probably not, but I can try, why?"
"I want to send a message to the Society and start a rebellion." I say.
"A rebellion?" Ash asks surprised. "You got shot last night and now you want to start a rebellion? They get very violent."
"We need to, this country is oblivious to how amazing life was and now is opportunity to fight and get it back!"
"I'm in, Iris?" Ash says.
"It's going to take a while, but I'm in." She says.
"We should wait a few days, or until we are closer to Canada so we can set up a plan and make sure everything is perfect." I say smiling wildly.
"What are we going to say on the video?" Ash asks.
"We should tell them about America and list amazing things about it and maybe at the end we would tell them how it's the Society's fault we live without choice and freedom." I say.
"Should we just plan today or walk?" Iris asks.
"We should use today to rest, and plan, we had a long day yesterday." He says.
"We could walk to the next city tomorrow and steal a camera to record the speech that we are going to share with the Society about America." I suggest shrugging.
"That sounds like a bad idea, we are already wanted fugitives, this will make it worse." He says shaking his head.
"How else are going to tell the Society about what we have learned?" I ask.
"We could actually buy a camera." He says as if the answer is obvious.
"That's a worse idea, stealing it is the only way we are going to film without running out of money completely." Iris says. "And we also need a laptop, or bring me to a power station."
"A power station would be better, the equipment is more advanced, which most likely means it's better for hacking." I say.
"Then if we go there we won't have to steal anything because there is always cameras' in there." She says.
"See Ash, now we don't have to steal anything." I say slightly annoyed.
"Fine, this is a terrible idea but I am still with you guys." He says smiling halfheartedly.
"Wholeheartedly?" I ask.
"Wholeheartedly." He says and smiles.

"We are near New City so do you know if there is any power stations that we can check out that are within twenty miles and we can get there in a few days?" I ask Iris and Ash.
"I think there might be one about thirty mile so maybe about a ten to fifteen hour walk straight with no breaks." Iris says.
"Probably about a day and a half or maybe two for us then, if we include all the hills, breaks, and robberies." Ash says.
"That should be enough time to think of a plan." I say. "Iris, how long will the computer take to hack into?"
"About a day at the most, maybe even just an afternoon if we are lucky." She says.
"That should be enough time to set up the cameras and make a final plan." I say. "Is the footage going to be live from the camera as we record?"
"The footage will be live, so after so set it up all three of us will say what we want to say, we only have one try so we can't mess up or we will embarrass ourselves in front of the entire Society." She says.
"That's good to know." I say beginning to feel worried.
"You won't mess up, when the camera starts you're emotions and anger will take over and speak for you." He says.
"Okay, I'm tired so I'm gonna take a nap." I say while grabbing two jackets and putting on down below me under the shade, and one as a blanket.
I get a comfortable as I can while on the ground a close my eye's so Ash and Iris think I'm asleep.
I don't want to listen to their conversations, I just want to listen to my own thoughts with out them being interrupted.
Part of me wants to think about life and how I'm going to live after we pass the Canadian border and another part of me want's to sleep.
Ash and I could spend our life together, and we could be close friends--or neighbors--with Iris, that would be nice.
My thoughts drift onto how we are going to pass the border, we don't have passports--or anything to prove our identity, so we can cross.
Sneaking past at night has always been an option, but we don't know how heavily armed the Border Patrol is.
They could have something from pistols to AK-47s to Assault Rifles.
The border might not be like a small gate that opens for cars when ever the drive by, it could be a giant cement wall that is practically impossible to climb with out a rope or anything to support us on our way up.
There also could be nothing but a long painted line representing the border and there could just be officers armed with nothing but a pocket knife and a crappy pistol.
So many things are running through my head making it impossible to sleep but after a while I finally forget all the things that were concerning me and I ease myself into a uncomfortable and restless slumber.
