When I wake up I am in a queen sized bed covered in a silk comforter.

I look around and hope that Ash is in here with me but when I see he isn't my pulse rises and I begin to panic.

I jump out of bed and walk to the door and my weak body struggles to open it.

When it finally opens I see there are only two other rooms in the hallway, which I hope are Ash and Iris's.

I knock on the door closest to me because Ash most likely too that one.

After I knock he opens the door a few seconds later with messed up hair and sleepy eyes.

"Are you okay?" He asks inviting me in and closing the door behind him.

"I'm okay, I just woke up and freaked out because I was alone." I say.

"Sorry I didn't wake you up, I wanted you to sleep." He says.

"That's okay, I will go back now." I say then turn around.

"Do you want to hang out with me?" He asks before I get a chance to open my door.

"Sure, what time do we get to eat? I'm starving."

"What time is it? We eat around nine." He says.

"Let me check." I say gazing towards the clock in his room. "It's nine."

"Shit, I will change." He says ripping off his clothes and quickly changes.

He seems so urgent to eat again, seeing him like this is so rare, so when it happens you have to laugh.

"Let's go." He says dragging me out with him.

"I still have to change, you know." I say laughing.

"Oh, do you want to go to breakfast in pajamas?" He asks with a hinting smile.

"Of course." I say while grabbing his hand and laughing.

When we get to the dining room my great grandfather and his guards are sitting there waiting for us.

"Why are you in your pajamas, Jessamine?" He asks.

"Ash was in a rush so her forgot to let me change before dragging me out here." I say teasingly.

"I asked if you wanted to change and you said no!" He says putting his hands up.

"I know I'm just messing with you." I say while poking his cheek.

"Are you two hungry?" My grandfather asks to change to subject.

"Yes!" Ash and I nearly yell at the same time then we laugh.

"What would you like?" Asks a guard.

"Eggs, bacon and toast!" Ash and I yell at the same time again.

The guard walks over to my great grandfather then they whisper for a second then they nod.

"I can tell you both have a lot in common." He says staring at out intertwined hands after the guard leaves.

"We have been friends literally since the day we were born." Ash says.

"When did this happen?" He asks gesturing towards our hands.

"A few weeks ago, I think." I say while blushing.

"Is that why you were wanted across the entire country?" My grandfather asks smiling slightly.

"Yeah, and because we managed to run away from them for so long." I say smiling nervously.

"Impressive, Ash, you better not break her heart." He says warningly.

"I won't, I'm not ever planning on it." Ash says smiling.

"Ah, here's our breakfast." My grandfather says while looking at the door where the guard stands.

"May I come in, sir?" The guard asks.

"You may." He says then the guard walks in with our breakfast.

"Enjoy." He says then walks away leaving us to enjoy our breakfast.
