The Doctor

Doctor's POV

Pebbles start floating off the ground.

"What's going on?" I hear Tibby ask.

"I believe the Zygons have started what they've been planning." I tell her.

Soon we start floating off the ground. I was too late to stop the Zygons. Guilt weighs me down as I realize that I should've stopped this instead of helping Tibby. Now the entire Earth is going to fall apart. Millions upon billions of people will die because I couldn't stop a Zygon.

I look around at the destruction of Earth.

Suddenly an electrical spark appears.

Then another.

And then I pop out.

"What the-" I start to say. But the other me cuts me off.

"Stop." She says. "I'm from your future."

"Nice to know that I have a future." I mumble. "How exactly did you get here?"

"I took the time vortex manipulator from the TARDIS wardrobe and came to tell you that you can stop the Zygons." She replies.

"What? How can there be two of you?" Tibby asks.

"Very long story." The two of us reply at the same time.

"So how do I stop the Zygons?" I ask future me.

"You can take the TARDIS back in time and go to the high school basement. There the Zygons are using the brainwashed kids to build a machine to collapse the inner core. If you can stop them then you can stop this." She says.

I look at my future self. "You sound like you've done this before." I tell her.

She looks at me. "I have."

Tibby steps in to the conversation. "Wait a minute, stop this from happening. It's already happened!"

We look at her and smile. "Time can be rewritten." We say.

I hold my hand out to Tibby. "I know how to stop the Zygons." I say. "Will you come with me?"
