Maggie

Maggie's POV

The alien people welcomed me into their spaceship as we left the TARDIS. 

Seriously. We just walked out of the TARDIS and all of them were lined up on either side bowing. It was actually kinda creepy.

The people that first barged into the TARDIS led me to a room where they said I could stay and help. I tried to tell them that hey, the TARDIS is fine, I can stay there. The girl that had came into the TARDIS smiled at me and told me that it would be safer here.

I can't help but feel like their prisoner.

The next day the same girl came into my room to take me to breakfast... or their equivalent to breakfast.

"Hello Doctor, we have a feast prepared." She said.

I smiled at her. "Cool!"

She bowed at me and turned to leave.

"Hey wait! You don't have to keep bowing at me."

Her head turned and she stared at me with wide eyes. "But we only do it out of respect, for what you have done in the past and for what you have promised to do."

Why do I feel guilty?

"Well if you're going to keep bowing at me then I at least deserve to know your name." I counter.

She frowns, "You always say that names are valuable and that that is why you go by the name 'Doctor'."

What do I say to that? "I understand that I say that, it's just everyone here knows what to call me so I think I deserve to call everyone else by some kind of name." I'm surprised at how calm I seem. "It doesn't have to be your actual name, just something I can know you by instead of 'you' or 'hey, the girl over there!'."

She pauses in thought. "If you want to call me by something then call me Yuno."

"Yuno. I like it." The name actually does sound good for her, plus you can make lots of puns with it.

"If that is all then you may follow me to the dining hall." She turns towards the door to go to the dining hall, wherever that is.

I roll off of the bed that I barely slept in and turn to stretch a bit before realizing that Yuno had already left. I thought she would wait for me! I run out into the hallway and spot her about halfway down the hallway. There are lots of the beings going in the same direction, That must be the way to the dining hall then.

I navigate my way through the mass of beings until I end up next to Yuno.

"Took you long enough." She mutters to me.

I smile sheepishly at her, "I thought you would wait for me."

"Food waits for no one."

"You say that as if the food is alive."

The conversation ends as we walk through the door to the dining hall. I look around, this looks like a normal dining hall, except for the fact that there is just one long table stretching around the room. Like, if you have a square inside of a square then the outline of the smaller square inside of the larger square would be the table, there's just empty space in the middle of the room.

It's only when we take our place at a table when I realize that there aren't any chairs either.I look around to see if anyone else seems uncomfortable but the only thing I see is a small child looking up at what appears to be its mother with a large smile on its face.

"Are you serious!" The child exclaims.

The mother figure laughs, "Yes, we are going to make you the toy you keep begging us to make you."
