The Doctor

Doctor's POV

I followed her to her school. I looked around her school all morning silently following her and the other students. Nothing. But after lunch I follow her to her classroom silently waiting outside the door eavesdropping on everything that happens inside. At the end of class everyone comes out, but I realize that Tibby doesn't come out. I sneak inside the room and hide behind a counter.

"Ms. Turner, you have detention this afternoon." I hear the teacher say.

"But Mr. Jones, I have a class next." I hear Tibby say.

"No buts young lady. You were disrespectful during class so you deserve detention, right now for the next class period."

I wait for a while until I finally poke my head out. Tibby looks at me but Mr. Jones seems to be caught up with work. Tibby motions to Mr. Jones and I know that she knows that there's something wrong with him.

Mr. Jones looks up and I duck back behind the desk.

"Ms. Turner, your detention is almost over. But unfortunately you won't make it home." I can hear him get up and move forwards Tibby. I hear her scream. My instincts overtake me and I jump up and point my Sonic Screwdriver at him.

Except Mr. Jones isn't there. In his place is a Zygon.

"Doctor." The Zygon hisses at me.

The Sonic Screwdriver buzzes to life.

"Ah, yes. The Zygon. Venom sacks in the tongue. I've met you before."

"The Doctor will be killed." The Zygon says.

"That's not very nice." I say. "What have you been doing with the kids that go into detention?" I ask the Zygon.

"We need money, so the kids will get it for us." The Zygon replies.

"So you're brainwashing high school kids to go out and get you money?" I say. "Well a good lot of help you'll get from dollars."

"We are not here for your kind of money." The Zygon says. "We are here to bring all of the Earth's riches to our planet where we will be rich."

"And how are you going to get all of this planet's riches?" I ask.

"We will collapse the inner core so the Earth has no gravity and all the riches float to the top where we can grab them and go."

"Oh my gosh." I hear Tibby whisper.

The Zygon steps forward towards us. I grab Tibby's wrist.

"Run."
