“Paano? Alam kong marami akong admirers. Kami, actually. Tell me, how did you....”

Damn, Matthew, if only I knew. Sayang, sobrang sayang.

“I've been sending you flowers every single day. There's always a note there and I am hoping na sana, kahit isa man lang sa mga 'yon ay sagutin mo, pero wala.

I mean, he is your cousin, but is it fine to you na....”

“Yes, he is my cousin. I know, he did not played fair, but I have my word that I will.” Kinuha niya ang dalawang kamay ko saka hinalikan, “At least, you are mine now, right?”

“Right,” I chuckled.

“I've been getting a lot of flowers but there's no note there. I mean, mayroon pero puro pa-impress lang at pagpapakilala. Tell me, which of those are from yours?”

“A bouquet of roses and carnations,” he said and I shook my head in disbelief.

“Why? It is your favorite, isn't it?”

“Yes, it is, and it was the only flowers I've been taking home, but Jac — sometimes, sinasabi niya na galing daw 'yon sa isa kong admirer which does looks like a goon, and bad breath. Kaya kung minsan... tinatapon ko.”

Matt laughs, “He hated me that much.”

Mukha ba akong nagpapatawa?

“That doesn't matter now, babe. I told you, you're mine,” he said and I pouted.

“Don't give me that face, I might eat your lips here.”

“Eh?”

Malapit nang mag-sunset and I can't wait to see it. Bigla ko lang naging trip na panoorin ang paglubog ng araw in no time. Weird.

“Babe, oh.”

Look, he is so cute having those chubby cheeks while chewing the food inside his mouth of full.

“Gwapong-gwapo ka talaga sa akin, babe, ano?” he said after swallowing all of it.

He drinks water, still staring at me.

“Don't do that, you knew that you are hot so....” I let my words hang in the midair 'cause now, I am seeing his flirtatious smile over me.

“You know what, babe?” Mas dumikit pa siya sa akin, “Maybe we should go home.” And goosebumps.

I clear my throat without looking, “No, we will have dinner out.”

I hear his chuckles kaya naman napatingin ako sa kaniya. I give him a what-look and he answer it by throwing a question back to my face.
