Chapter 4

     Sora POV

     Once I came from school, I got everything ready to make dinner. Once I fed Mii, I then got to work.

     After making dinner I started to copy the notes Tazuki and (Y/N) let me borrow. Then Mii started to try and turn the page of (Y/N)'s notebook. I'm assuming he was trying to help me but he ended up folding the edge of the page. " Mii you're wrinkling the page! I have to give it back to her!" I told him. Then I had an idea.

     Tazuki POV

     As I was going to Sora's house I found (Y/N) walking in the same direction as me with Cosmo on her shoulder. " I'm guessing you're also going to Sora's," I told her. Then I realized he had invited her to his house so I sounded pretty stupid. Why does this happen to me? " Yeah, I am." She answered me with a smile. I nodded a little flustered. You see, I was flustered for two reasons:

1. Because I asked a stupid question

2. She's pretty.

     At first, I didn't understand why most of the guys at our school were fawning over (Y/N). To be quite honest, I didn't pay attention when she introduced herself to the class I was reading before class had started. But after yesterday, I finally understood why the boys at our school liked her. Not only is she really pretty, she's a nice person. 

    We arrived at Sora's place to find him making a small coloring book. "Sora, what are you doing?" I asked him. " Making a coloring book for Mii." He said. " Have you finished copying our notes?" I said. "Mostly." He told me. " Hey (Y/N), let me get your jacket-" " No thanks! I prefer to keep it on." She said a little quickly. " Why? It's like 100 degrees in here!" I asked her. " I just feel a little chilly, that's all!" She said. " (Y/N), do you feel sick?" Sora asked.  "No, I just get cold easily, especially at this time of year, " She said with a smile. 

     (Y/N) POV

     They almost found out. That could've gone horribly wrong. Mii then ran over to me so he could escape Tazuki. I took Cosmo off my shoulder so he could play with Mii while Sora brought the snacks. " Tazuki, you're very obvious," I told him. He looked shocked. "What, um do you mean?" He said. " You see, Mii knows exactly what you're going to do to him if you get your hands on him," I explained. "You should try to be nicer with him." He looked a little relieved.

     "Here are the snacks and tea!" Sora said. "Thanks, Sora," I told him. "Do you guys want to take some home?" Sora asked us. " That'd be nice," I said with a smile. " Yeah," Tazuki muttered. 

     Tazuki got a spoon of the food and tried to bribe Mii. Mii hid behind the vase but then Tazuki smiled. Mii then walked forward. Tazuki picked him up and began looking for the end of Mii. " Tazuki I don't think you should do that," I warned him but he wasn't listening. "Looks like you're getting along," Sora said. "I can't find the end of this bandage." He murmured. Then Sora hit the back of Tazuki's head. "What're you doing?!" Sora said. " Sorry, I was just curious," Tazuki answered.

     "Here," Sora gave Tazuki a piece of dog food. "Mii, I'm sorry." Tazuki offers the dog food to Mii. Mii ran over to Tazuki and took the food and set it down on the table. Mii rubbed his head against Tazuki's finger. Then he ran back to Sora. Tazuki looked a bit shocked. 

     "So Mii was dehydrated again," Sora said. "I wonder why?" I said. "I guess I'll have to bring him to school if he keeps becoming shriveled," Sora said. " Please tell me you're joking, right?" Tazuki said with a sick look on his face. "I don't see the problem here. I mean, I take Cosmo to school every day." I told them. Cosmo yipped in agreement. " You do!?" Sora and Tazuki said in unison. "Yeah. Did you guys not know?" I asked. " We never see him or heard him," Tazuki said. " He falls asleep most of the time because he gets bored and he is still a puppy," I responded.

     We continued to talk and laugh for a while. A while passed so I turned on my phone to look at the time.

     "It's getting late. I should go." I told them. " I should too," Tazuki said. "Bye Sora!" I said. "Goodbye!" Sora said. I started to head out when Tazuki stopped me. All of a sudden, I felt something drape over my shoulders. I looked up and saw that Tazuki's jacket was no longer on him, but on me instead. 

     I looked at him with wide eyes. "You get cold easily, right? If you were cold inside Sora's house, you'll get even colder outside. The last thing we want is for you to get sick while you're walking home."

     I was too shocked to say anything so I looked back down and we started walking together again. We walked in silence until we reached my house. "Thanks for walking me back, Tazuki."

     "No worries, it's on my way back so it's not a problem." I smiled at him. I moved my shoulders a bit so that I could take off Tazuki's jacket but I felt 2 hands grab my shoulders to stop me. "Keep it, you can give it back to me tomorrow."

     I gulped. "Are you sure?"

     I heard him sigh and soon enough, his hands were no longer on my shoulders. I saw him walking away. "I'm sure. I'm already walking away so you can't give it back now. Good night." He waved a hand without looking back at me.

     "Good night," I mumbled, not sure if he heard me or not.

     I walked into my home and made my way into my room. Cosmo was already on the pillow and fast asleep. I took off Tazuki's jacket and smiled slightly. I took off my own jacket and sighed as I let myself fall down on my bed. 

     I thought back to when Tazuki offered to take my jacket. It's better that they don't know but I felt guilty for lying to them. I mean, it's not technically lying if you just don't tell them right?
