The Baudelaire's and their adopted daughter, Beatrice, prepared to sail off the island that they had been stranded on for an entire year. The Baudelaire's had mixed emotions leaving the island. "Mixed emotions" is a phrase you will hear many times in "After A Series Of Unfortunate Events". In this case the word mixed emotions meant that the children were excited to get back into the world, but afraid that they would be labeled as murderers at their arrival. As Klaus called "Let's go" to the other 3 children, they were ready to leave.
"Do we have enough food for the journey" asked Violet.
"Yup" responded Sunny.
The four children loaded everything they needed onto the boat there father had built many years ago called "The Beatrice" and left the island. "Do you think everybody survived the fire in the hotel" asked Violet, "I really hope that nobody trying to help us died in the fire" she continued. "Me too" agreed Sunny.
