Jacquelyn was shocked by her sisters sudden arrival. She was presumed dead after she went missing. Frank and Julia sat down. Frank instructed Julia to tell her sister what had happened to her.
"It all started on the trip up Mount Fraught" she said. "Carmelita was being an obnoxious brat as always, she called me a cakesniffer and locked me in an empty bag". "When Brucie was ditched I got out and went back to the snow scouts".
"That's when those evil arsonists showed up and captured us all except Carmelita". "Who were those arsonists" Jacquelyn questioned. "They were those two described in the newspaper with the beard and hair thing" she answered. Jacquelyn and Frank exchanged scared look with that. " There was also that evil man and his crew who went missing with the Baudelaire's last year". She continued. "Oh yeah, the Baudelaire's and another boy were there too. They were trying to warn us to run away but we were too scared" she said sadly.
"After that we were forced to work in a ship for Count Olaf and his crew. But we were eventually rescued by the Baudelaire's and we escaped along with Captain Fiona and her brother. They delivered us to The City while they continued the search for their father" she explained. "Then I ran into Uncle Frank and he saw my necklace" she said pointing at her necklace engraved with the initials V.F.D. "I told him everything i'm telling you and we came here" she finished.
Jacquelyn thought about what she was hearing and knew that she had to tell her sister about the death of her mother. "Julia" she started, "I need to tell you something". "I know mother is dead" she said quickly on the verge of tears. Frank Denouement currently felt uncomfortable. Which here means he did not want to disrupt the moment shared between these two siblings. He quickly got up to go to the washroom.
After the two sisters shared a private moment that I will allow for them to keep private the older of the two shared a big secret. "Do you know what V.F.D stands for Julia" she asked. "No" she replied. "Well than I have a lot to tell you" Jacquelyn replied with a smirk
