After the attack from the eagles the self sustaining hot air mobile home was severely damaged. Hector knew that he and his companions would have to go back to the ground. It had been about a year since the eagles attack but it was only now that the self sustaining hot air mobile home looked like it was to severely damaged to stay in the sky. The Quagmires had mixed feelings about this. They were scared to go back to the city where they may face treacherous villains and fires like when they were with the Baudelaire's. They were glad however that they may finally be able to reunite with their friends.

The 4 passengers of the mobile home made a decision to turn around and try to get back to the city so they could land. They had tried to stay as close as possible to the main land in case of an emergency without being in sight of any villains using a spyglass. "How long do you think it will take to get back" asked Quigley. "Probably a day or two" replied Duncan.

Than Duncan said " I was thinking, about Violet-". "It's her decision Duncan. We have known each other longer than we've known her. We will always be brothers no matter what she decides, Promise." Quigley said, cutting him off. "Yeah you're right, Promise" Duncan agreed. "Thanks, Bro" said Quigley. He gave his brother a small hug before Isadora and Hector returned. Okay guys we need to take shifts keeping watch for land in the night okay. Sure the brothers replied in unison. "Ok, shifts will be between 9am and 9pm, I'll take first watch." said Isadora. With that the 3 boys went to sleep.
