Hello, My name is Harry Hansen and I was once wanting to join the noble association of VFD but I have no idea if it diminished with the fire at the Hotel Denouement or still resides in secret. I am working with a friend of mine named Lemony Snicket and we are working to find what happened to the secret organization of VFD.
First of all, I would like to dedicate this investigation/book to the brave volunteers who died trying to help the Baudelaire orphans such as Larry the waiter, Dewey Denouement, Monty, Kit and Jacques Snicket, Olivia Caliban, the Quagmire parents and of course Beatrice and Bertrand Baudelaire.
I believe the best place to start is looking at what happened to the brave and noble Baudelaires after they left the island. I will also try to follow the story of the Quagmires and Widdershins and many other noble volunteers.
After extensive research I have found that everybody in the Hotel Denouement survived in the fire. This could be taken as a good thing as many noble and brave volunteers survived leaving the fire fighting side of VFD with great people to take up the cause. However this can also be taken as a bad thing as two villains far worse than Count Olaf were still lurking and ready to end VFD once and for all as well as a treacherous woman who wanted a sugar bowl as well as her daughter.
