Freya couldn't watch idly, she was the grandcommander, her place belonged in the battle field, she made haste for the nursery.
The 'nursery' was an institution on the moon which took care of all the infants and groomed them for adulthood.
It was here Freya had banished Ziana. Freya hurried into the nursery in search of Ziana.
Ziana was huddling the scared infants to herself along side other nannies.
Freya thrust the infant into her arms
"This is Waya's son, his life is now in your hands".
Ziana was wide eyed but Freya didn't wait to indulge her, she had to get the children to safety.
She led the children and their guardians towards the secret tunnels of the moon.
Here, she pulled on a well concealed lever which in turn opened the door to a large hall.
"Stay in there till I come for you, Ziana, you're in charge".
She waited until they had safely proceeded into the hall, again, she tugged on the lever, closing the door.
Poseidon conveyed himself into his trident making himself one with the weapon and like a missile, he launched for the moon.
Behind him were his sons and his host of army.
The magical barrier shielding the moon didn't stand a chance for the trident shattered it effortlessly and made its way towards the moon.
Athena was already on ground with her army backing her.
Waya walked briskly towards the battlefield, he stretched his hands towards his room and summoned his shield which in turn flew to him.
The trident fell towards the surface of the moon, before it could reach the earth's surface, Poseidon disentangled himself from the trident.
Both he and the trident hit the moon's surface simultaneously causing a mini moon-quake.
Waya took a moment to inspect Poseidon.
Olympian runes covered his masculine frame, his wrist was covered in beautifully crafted bracelet which shone like sapphire.
His lower body was covered in armor of which Waya was certain was crafted by the gods.
His face was strikingly beautiful so was his glowing eyes.
But Waya didn't see beauty, all he saw was a monster. Instantly, Orion, Atlas and a host of Poseidon's army emerged from the clouds and landed behind their master.
It was at this moment Freya arrived, the sight of Poseidon, Orion and Atlas enraged her.
"Attack" he roared
In a frenzy, the moon's military charged at Poseidon and his army.
Poseidon raised his trident high into the air and brought it down hard on the moon's surface, sending massive shockwaves through the moon.
The shockwaves knocked out  the entirety of the moon's military.
Freya felt the shockwave approach her, the corner of her eye caught Waya's hair which was strapped to her wrists begin to glow.
The closer the shockwaves, the brighter the hair glowed. Finally, the shockwaves hit her, instantly, pain shot through her body causing her to fall to the ground but unlike the rest of the moon's military, she was still conscious.
Waya was infuriated.
"Please don't fight him" Athena begged him quietly.
Completely disregarding Athena's pleas, Waya gripped his shield and flew towards Poseidon.
Orion attempted to engage Waya but Poseidon stopped him with a gesture with his hand.
"You had your chance" The sea emperor growled.
Waya positioned his shield in  a manner he could bash Poseidon.
When Waya came into range, Poseidon delivered a punch to the shield, causing it to shatter as if it were mere glass.
The force of the blow flung Waya yards away from the point of collision.
It took Waya a while to recover but Poseidon was patient and allowed him room for recovery.
When Waya did, he covered the distance between himself and Poseidon in a fraction of a second.
He prepared to deliver a blow to Poseidon's face but the sea emperor was faster, before Waya's punch could connect, Poseidon delivered a massive upper cut to the young god sending him high into the air.
When Waya hit the moon's surface, his mouth was bleeding profusely.
Again, Poseidon allowed him room to recover.
Waya was furious, he conjured a spear and hurled it at the sea emperor.
Without moving as much as a muscle, Poseidon halted the weapon in mid air.
From his mouth, he breathed power unto the spear.
With his powers, he altered the course of the weapon and sent it hurling back at Waya.
Waya dodged the weapon but that didn't matter for the weapon had been enchanted to pursue after him.
Despite his best efforts to evade the weapon, the spear found his way into side breaking multiple ribs in the process.
Waya roared in pain as the spear lodged itself in his side.
He was shocked to see blood seep from his side.
He staggered to his feet, his garment was soaked with his own blood.
Poseidon readied to throw his trident for the artifact was a god killer.
He had the young god in his sight and was ready to hurl the trident when Athena covered the distance between herself and Waya using her powers.
She took his face in her hands and kissed him on the lips causing him to vanish.
Poseidon turned to Orion and nodded once.
Orion discerned the meaning behind the nod and did not hesitate in marching over to retrieve Athena.
Athena watched with a calm as the young god approached her.
She was well aware she was significantly weaker considering she didn't extract power from the sacrifice offered her but she wouldn't allow herself be abducted without a fight.
