AM USING THIS MEDIUM TO WISH PATIENCE EBIKEME A HAPPY BIRTHDAY.

Freya had sent her warriors to retrieve Athena and was along side thousands of people keenly watching the battle between Orion and the kraken.
So engrossed was she, she didn't notice the figure racing towards her.
"Commander" the figure yelled.
Instantly, Freya jerked her head. It was the high priest.
He was panting heavily.
"Watch tower..... Waya... Poseidon" Freya's eyes widened, she didn't realize when she brushed past the aged man and sprinted towards the watchtower.
She paid no heed to the aching in her knees as she sailed through the stone stairs.
She stormed into the watchtower and peered through one of the massive telescopes.
She scanned through the vast sea and found nothing but when she tilted the telescope further, she found an island.
On closer inspection she noticed Waya, her heart leapt for joy and her face broke into a smile.
But her smile was quickly erased when Poseidon crashed his fist against Waya's face.
Poseidon put his knee to Waya's stomach and followed it up with a punch which sent Waya to the ground.
Poseidon mounted Waya and proceeded to attack his unprotected face with a barrage of blows.
Freya could do nothing but watch in horror as Waya's blood seeped unto the surface of the island.
Orion knew if he allowed the fight to become a test of stamina he'd lose. He had to put a quick end to the fight.
The kraken was almost indestructible its only true weakness was it's brain.
If it's brain was destroyed, the kraken would be defeated.
He yielded the kraken wrap it's tentacles around him.
The kraken brought him towards it's face.
Orion braced himself for the kraken's onslaught.
The kraken drew open its mouth and began to suck the life out of Orion.
The king of atlantis was no stranger to pain but the pain of the kraken's suction hit him in ways even he couldn't deem possible. It was in that moment he realised he wouldn't survive the fight.
Not withstanding his waning vigor, he conjured his cosmic bow. The kraken's tentacles had engulfed him, the only way to fire an arrow was with his powers which was waning by the second.
With his powers he drew the cosmic instead of an arrow, he inserted the rib of Cronus.
He aimed it at the kraken's skull, he could feel his life sipping away.
He summoned whatever power he had left and with it released the rib.
The rib flew true, it struck the kraken in the skull and emerged from the back of its head.
The kraken fell almost instantly while still gripping Orion.
Orion looked down, he saw the sea; his watery grave. He never in a million years would've believe he'd die protecting humans.
He thought of his brother, he knew the kid would be alright. On the bright side, he'd be reunited with his mother.
Orion king of Atlantis had never shed a tear since his mother's demise at the hands of his father but he involuntary let a tear roll through his face as he crashed into the sea along side the kraken.
Freya was in tears as she watched Poseidon mutilate Waya.
Poseidon drove his fingers into Waya's right eye and plucked it out.
Waya screamed in pain as he fell to the ground.
"Did you really believe you could defeat me?" Poseidon mocked.
"You're nothing but an insect in my sights"
Waya's mind was made up. Poseidon couldn't be allowed to live, if he had to go down with him, he'd gladly do it.
He sprang on Poseidon but the god-emperor saw him coming, he delivered a blow to Waya's face but the prince of the moon didn't let that deter him.
He grabbed Poseidon and held unto him.
Athena's words replayed in his head.
"There are ways you could exert your powers which could get you killed".
He reached deep within himself and unleashed all of his powers turning himself into a time bomb, not even Poseidon could survive that.
Poseidon realised this but despite the severity of the blows he landed on Waya, Waya held unto him.
Freya saw though his plan, she raced out of the watchtower in the vain attempt to stop him.
In the final seconds if his life, all Waya could think about was Freya.
Freya had barely made it through the stair when she felt an explosion which literally rocked the city.
She didn't need to look through a telescope, both Waya and Poseidon were gone.
She fell to the ground and sobbed.
Atlas woke with a jolt, the procedure had worked. Only his brother could have saved him. Knowing the nature of his brother, he was well aware he'd seek revenge on the kraken.
With his powers, he teleported himself to the sea.
He heightened his senses and scanned the sea for his brother.
He sensed him at the bottom of the sea. Instantly he submerged into the sea.
To his utmost horror, at the bottom of the sea was the carcass of the kraken whose tentacles tightly gripped his brother's corpse.
Atlas disentangled Orion from the kraken's grip, he held his brother's lifeless body in his arms and wailed like an infant.
