Mike: Annie? Hey! (gulat na sabi nya at bumeso sa kaibigan) how are you?
Annie: I'm good. How about you? Where's Arlene? how's your kids? especially Dennise?
Mike: I'm fine. Well my wife is in the Philippines with our 3 kids. And Dennise is fine. She's now managing her own business a coffeeshop and she's a good business woman. (naka ngiti at proud nyang sabi) by the way, How's Thomas? Is he managing his own businesz now? I remember back then he wants to manage an Italian restaurant.. (he said and chuckled)
The woman in front of him was suddenly become serious. Bigla na lang unti-unting nawala ang mga ngiti nya habang naka titig ng diretso sa mga mata ni Mike.
Annie: Haven't you heard?
Mike: Heard? heard what?
Annie: He is...(she cleared her troat) He's gone!
Mike: What? what gone? what do you mean? where did he go? don't tell me he left you and--- (annie cut him off)
Annie: No mike. not that.. (she took a deep sigh and said) He's dead.
Mike: What? seriously? Come on Annie. Not funny! If he left you just tell me straight and I promise you I will find my stupid friend and kick his ass. just please don't tell that to me..
