Kits Above!!
Owlflight stared down at her kits bundled beside her, tucked under a makeshift den beneath an elder bush by the river. The four bundles squirmed closet to her, seeking her warmth. Owlflight blinked at them lovingly, and glanced up to see four faces peering down at her. Buzzardwing, Ravenleaf, Bearheart and a very angry Oakcharge.
"I told you not to leave camp," he said immediately in a way only brother can. Owlflight rolled her eyes.
"I'm fine, they're fine," she soothed, "So relax. It's better that I'm here. I won't have to walk as far to the Gathering tomorrow night." Oakcharge huffed, leaving immediately to calm himself, muttering about stubborn she cats. Ravenleaf grinned at her sister before following their brother, leaving Buzzardwing and Bearheart.
"What will you name them?" Buzzardwing asked, a soft adoration and excitement in her voice. Owlflight smiled.
"The sandy she kit, she will be Riverkit. The tortoiseshell tom, he will be Leafkit. The russet tabby.. he will be Oakkit, for his father. And the little tabby— she will be Morningkit." She licked her daughter's head as the tabby mewled. Bearheart smiled.
"Those are good names," he murmured, touching Oakkit's head in gentle awe. "Strong names." Owlflight smiled warmly at him.
"You can breath, they're not so fragile," she teased with a wry tone. Bearheart crept closer, and Buzzardwing glanced between he and Owlflight suspiciously.
"What's happening here?" She asked bluntly, her blue eyes glancing between them curiously. Owlflight slapped her friend's ear with her tail.
"Hush," she scolded as Bearheart looked at the kits, examining them. She then winked at Buzzardwing, a clear sign of 'I'll tell you later.' Her friend twitched her whiskers before slinking off in clear amusement. Owlflight blinked drowsily after her, and Bearheart touched her ear with his nose.
"You're tired," he murmured, and she smiled wearily at him. He smiled softly, "Sleep. I'll watch them while you do."
Owlflight frowned a bit, not wanting to sleep— but Bearheart smiled reassuringly and Owlflight felt the toils of the day catch up to her and quickly fell asleep.

Owlflight woke up and the first thing she saw was Morningkit, chasing a butterfly. She could tell it was her daughter, even though the kit in her dream was bigger. The she kit stopped playing, and the scene changed.
Suddenly, there were ten cats. Her daughter and nine others. Owlflight could recognize Hollyleaf and Rowanoak, and watched curiously as the touched the grown Morningkit on the top of her head. She flinched with each touch but as each cat stepped back, strength seemed to grow more and more in her.
Hollyleaf turned to unseeing to Owlflight.
"LeafClan."

Owlflight woke with a jolt, alarmed as she looked for Morningkit. Upon seeing her daughter, the queen exhaled in relief."I told you I'd watch them," Bearheart chuckled quietly, startling Owlflight. When she calmed, she peered out of the makeshift den. The night clearing was awash with moonlight and several cats, perhaps even all the cat in camp, mingled about.
"What's going on?" She asked in confusion, smiling briefly as Cowheart smiled at her, her moon old kits tucked against her. Bearheart chuckled.
"You slept through yesterday. It's the Gathering tonight," He rumbled with mirth. Owlflight blanched.
"What? You let me sleep that long?" She asked with narrowed eyes. He shrugged.
"The world survived your rest. I didn't see the need to wake you until now. Oakcharge is speaking with Duskstar." Bearheart had barely finished before Owlflight sat up.
"Help me carry the kits?" She asked, and Gingercloud soon appeared with Buzzardwing.
"We can help," the orange and white she cat purred, gingerly picking up Riverkit as Buzzardwing took Leafkit. Bearheart held Oakkit, while Owlflight tucked little Morningkit against her. Oakcharge yowled, and the camp-cats gathered to him as he followed the last cat of EchoClan over the fir tree bridge to the island.
The island was a forested chunk of land between the river banks, it's end marking the start of fast rapids that would eventually dip over into a water fall. RippleClan already sat in the clearing, as stiff and on edge as their leader, Nightstar— who sat alone in an olive tree, who's branches hung low and spread wide.
Duskstar walked proudly past the RippleClan warriors, leaping atop the tree. Nightstar regarded him coolly before glancing over at Owlflight and her group. Owlflight walked over, Morningkit in tow as she leapt onto a sturdy and wide branch, tucking Morningkit safe against her.
"Not exactly the safest place for a kit," Nightstar observed, and Owlflight met her gaze.
"She's not just any kit," Owlflight responded confidently. Everything leading to this moment made sense now. She was a LeafClan cat, and she had to come here so she could meet Rowanoak, and have their daughter who would lead their new Clan. StarClan finally revealed Owlflight's purpose. She would lead her friends until Morningkit was old enough to assume leadership. The only thing that didn't make sense was—
"Let's begin," Nightstar yowled, continuing once the Clans has quieted. She continued coolly as Duskstar nodded for her to begin. "The medicine cats and the she cat beside us have received and omen from StarClan. Or so they say."
Hushed whispers broke out and Owlflight saw many curious and accusing glances tossed her way, though she didn't waver. She held her head high as Duskstar stepped forward.
"StarClan told them that there shall be four," he spoke in a low timbre, and paused as a cat from the crowd spoke.
"But four what?" He asked. Owlflight was about to respond when she caught a strange scent.
"Four Clans," a cat spoke as she entered the clearing. A black-spotted, russet she cat—tall and lean— stood surrounded by a large group of cats. A lithe russet She cat with white paws and black tipped ears stood to her left while a black tom stood on her right. The lead cat stepped forward.
"I am Dawnstar, and I have just come from the MoonTree after receiving my nine lives and approval of my Clan— I am the leader of CloudClan." She said with confidence as she sauntered forward and leapt onto the olive tree.
