"We can just wait till they come back they should be back any time now," Regina said. As soon as the words left her mouth, people began to file into the diner with slumped heads, David the first to enter.
"Stand back!" David yelled grabbing his sword and took a step forward pointing the sword straight at Regina.
"No wait David! She isn't the Evil Queen anymore." Snow said as she stood up, pushing the sword towards the floor. "It's okay," she said softly seeing his wary look. "She's fine I promise." She said and pecks his lips gently.
"Regina I need you to come with me I have some things that I've never told you and I think you should know it," Rumple said nudging his head at the entrance to Granny's. Regina looked at her family and then stood up and headed towards Gold. Once they were inside his shop Gold did something Regina thought her would ever do, he hugged her.
"What are you doing! Rumple?" She asked with confused in her eyes, never having seen a ounce of emotion or affection out of him in his life.
"I'm sorry there's some things you don't know that would explain that," Rumple said scratching his head his words causing Regina to look at him even more confused. Before Regina could say anything Rumple began to explain everything. "Well um, when your mother was younger. Eva embarrassed her, so she made it her mission to make it to the top of the royal status. Well she went to one of the balls and the King found out who she was. It ended up with her being locked up in the dungeons and she had to have gold spun before day and she had to spin one piece in front of the King so she could marry his son. Well she called me and I helped her achieve her goal. After that, Cora and I had feelings for each other. After the engagement she took her heart out and she buried it so she wouldn't have feelings for me any longer. Well a few weeks later she turned up pregnant and Henry and your mother weren't married yet so-"
"your my dad" Regina interrupted eyes growing to the size of saucers. "Why have you never told me!" Regina yells as her hands ball up into fists beside her.
"Well because you were so happy and content and I thought that it didn't matter since you had a father that loved you anyways. Well after you died I had to get you back I felt guilty for never telling you I know all your strengths and I know all your weaknesses and you were always like a daughter to me anyways so it never mattered" Rumple sighs, shrugging his shoulders slightly. He looked up at Regina seeing the tears glistening in her eyes.
"You were always like another father to me you were the one who mentored me in magic," Regina shook her head. "Thank you for bringing me back but for the time being I honestly don't want to talk to you," Regina gulps as she saw the hurt in his eyes.
"As you wish.. your majesty." Rumple said and opens the door for Regina and watched her walk back over to Granny's to celebrate with everyone.
