Part 26

Flashback

Emma sneaked into the Gold household using a sleeping spell to put everyone in the house into a deep sleep. She krept upstairs and into thier bedroom the two babies were laying in a bassinet beside of Belle. Emma walked up to the bassinet, she grabbed one of the babies and cradled it in her arms. The baby opened its eyes, bright blue ones "Hello Athena you're coming with me." Emma said smiling at the baby. She took out a vile and with her magic gave the memory potion to everyone in Storybrooke, so that they never remembered the baby being born.

Emma took the baby out into the middle of the woods and placed her down on the forest floor. This made a bright light come down and then there in front of her was the Black Fairy. Emma flicked her wrist and the baby was back in her hand. "I need to talk to you about something before I give this baby to you." The Black Fairy nodded her head signaling her to go on "I need the instructions to make the dark curse, I need it so everyone can forget everything that's happened in Storybrooke"

"What makes you think I will help you?" The Black Fairy said smirking "Well you won't get this baby and you can't use magic here, only to travel. This curse wouldn't even affect you in anyway. You don't want your son your even trying to stay away from him and well you could just raise his daughter instead."

Emma said smirking as she held up the baby to see "This, this is Rumple's child?" Emma nodded her head "Well I guess we have a deal then, here and do not mention this to anyone." Emma handed Athena over to the Black Fairy, as soon as she held onto the baby she was off flying out to the Dark Realm.

Enchanted Forest
Emma sat looking up at the sky who could she talk to about this, and they would understand. Neal, he would understand but he isn't here he's moved on and in a better place. Emma thought could anyone get her to him without her dying, Rumplestiltskin. Emma hurriedly put on warmer clothes and went to the Dark Castle she opened the door and went straight to the room filled with magical items.

He always seemed to be there. She opened the door and he was at his wheel spinning straw. "Rumplestiltskin I need a deal with you please." Rumple's eye brightened "Oh! A deal from the princess! Oh this should be good." Rumple said laughing "Oh shut up you imp." Emma said rolling her eyes "I need to talk to someone from the dead, not bring them back." Emma said sighing "Well why would you need to do this?"

Rumple said giggling "I'm debating something." Emma said shortly trying not to giving something away that might start the curse to break "Now I need specifics debating what or you will not get what you need." Rumple said rubbing his hands together "Fine I'm debating on whether I should go to this foreign land called Storybrooke." Emma said making a little white lie, it was partly the truth.

Rumple's eyes brightened and then they went back to normal "Oh Storybrooke, never heard of it." Rumple said a bit more darkly "But I will give you what you need, sprinkle this on the person's grave and you will be able to talk to them." Emma nodded her head "What do you want?" "Oh me, I've gotten all I've needed." Rumple said grinning.

Emma left the castle and started walking to the cemetery. What she didn't know was that Rumpelstiltskin was behind her, he needed to know how he gotten here and if Emma really did remember Storybrooke. Emma finally gotten to the grave "Neal Cassidy Father and Son." Emma sprinkled the potion onto the grave, Rumple hid behind a tombstone not wanting Baelfire to see him.

Neal's figure came up from the ground, looking very confused. "Emma what, why are we in the enchanted forest?" Neal said confused, Emma was crying "I, I did something horrible to get back at Regina and so no one remembered what I told her. They all look at me differently back in Storybrooke, like I was the bad guy." Emma said shaking her head. "Look what it done to me." Emma opened up her hand and a gray ball was in her hands "You're not the savior anymore are you?" Neal said concern spreading on his face.

Emma nodded her head "I, we went back to the Enchanted Forest to help Regina get this flower and we accidentally went back in time. And then when we finally gotten back to the right time Belle went into labor and she had twins. And when the first one was born Regina was waiting for the baby to drop so that Belle could give birth to her. And I let something slip, please don't be mad at me." Emma said crying "I won't I promise." Neal said trying to hug Emma but failing "I admitted to never loving our son, he reminded me of you leaving me in that prison. When he came and got me I didn't want to go with him but I had to do that so he would leave. Then once I gotten there he mentioned something about my parents being there, and I believed it so I stayed. Then Henry ate the turnover before he could tell me how to break the curse and well I thought maybe I could wake him up so I did so that I could see how to break the curse. I guess my love for my parents is what broke the curse I honestly do not know how I broke the curse because I have never loved him. It's just after the curse broke I well they had already figured out he was my son and they already loved him so I just used it as punishment to Regina by taking him away. Please don't be mad at me, please."

Emma said trying to hold on to Neal but falling through his spirit each time. Neal shook his head "Emma I'm not mad, I just don't know what to say. Is this why you wanted to talk to me or is it something else?" Emma nodded her head "I wanted to talk about this curse, I don't know what to do. Should I stick it out or do something else?" Neal smiled "Just stick it out if you really didn't want the curse to begin with it wouldn't work." Neal said "How do you know that?" "I was the son of the dark one remember, I found the ingredients list and directions. Then I read more into it and it said that the curse would not take effect if you didn't really want it to happen." Rumple took this as his cue, he was enraged Emma took one of his kids and he knew it how else did she get the directions to make this curse.

"You stole one of my kids?" Rumple said making a fireball "what no, I." Emma said not knowing what to say "Papa." Neal said "Bae." Rumple said "I'm sorry son, I didn't know she was going to contact you. Or I wouldn't have given it to her." Neal shook his head "I needed to know that, but I did love my son. And Emma continue with the curse you don't know what could happen if it breaks." Neal disappeared from sight, Emma sighed she was facing Rumple alone and she didn't know if he had his memories or not.

"Rumplestiltskin I don't think you understood me I just, it's not what you think." "Emma do not play that with me, I created a loophole you should have known I would have. No one would know what Storybrooke is if they were under a curse. So why would someone say it, so I created a word that if I heard it I would have all my real memories back, just like last time." Emma's eyes grew big "Now I know you had to contact the Black Fairy she's the only person who has the ingredients except for me. Now you took my baby and then you took my memories. You should know that you would let something slip, why why did you have to cast this curse."

"Because everyone knew what I said to Regina about Henry, no one looked at me the same. I couldn't deal with it no more. And my parents they wouldn't even talk to me, and I didn't want that so I casted a curse so that they didn't even remember the first curse and Storybrooke." Rumple shook his head "Those reasons, how did the curse even cast for those reasons." Rumple said shaking his head "I'm leaving and I'm telling you someone will break this curse, be ready."

Rumple said flicking his wrist, transporting him to the Dark Castle. He walked to his room for magical objects, in the middle of the table was a book. Rumple picked it up and looked at the cover it said Once Upon a Time, but it wasn't the same storybook, this one was in a dark leather and silver outlines not the brown leather of the other storybook. He opened the cover and in black print were the words "Read this book it will help break it." Rumple stared at the book, he put it up on the top shelf for later this curse needs to stay fully enacted for a little bit.
