Part 34

"Zelena please stay for the party! Just one more day won't hurt." Regina begged Zelena while Zelena was standing at the front door, she crossed her arms. "Queenie they don't even like me why should I even come to this party." Zelena said throwing up her hands. "They do like you! And you need to come your family now, please come you can leave right after." Regina said looking up at Zelena, Zelena rolled her eyes at her sister "Fine! I will come to this party but i'm leaving right after." Zelena said, her hair moved from her neck to reveal a splotch of green.

"Zelena" Regina gasped, Zelena looked at where she was looking and quickly covered up the spot "Your not jealous, who could you be jealous of?" Regina said trying to move Zelena's hair from off her neck. Zelena just pushed the hair back and coughed "That may be why im leaving, i'm just lonely here and i'm jealous of you, Snow, and even Belle. You all have this little family and I have nothing." Zelena sighed shaking her head.

"Zelena, you don't have nobody, you have a niece or nephew coming and you have two nephews already, you have me and Robin and the whole town. But I see where you're coming from you want a fresh start, a special someone." Regina smiled up at her sister "Exactly." Regina hugged her sister. "You know your starting to get a little bump now." Zelena smiled, Regina put her hand on her small stomach and smiled "I guess I am."

Regina said rubbing her growing bump "When can I tell you the gender you're killin me!" Regina sighed "I don't want to know, you are going to tell Snow after the party. And she already told me she is going to decorate the nursery for me purple if its a girl and blue and green if its a boy." Regina said, Zelena nodded "Now we need to get to the party, Robin already left so I could have a conversation with you." Regina said grabbing on to her sister while Zelena transported them to Snows apartment.

Regina and Zelena appeared in the apartment in a cloud of green smoke they both sat presents down on a table near the kitchen and went to find Snow. They found her in her and Charmings bedroom holding a dressed and smiling Neal. "He looks so cute Snow!" Regina said reaching out for the baby, Snow handed Neal to Regina so she could get ready herself. She opened up her closet and found a blue button up shirt and jeans. Snow undressed and put on these new clothes right before guest started pouring in.

Snow quickly went into the bathroom to do her hair and makeup and came out. "Regina do you want to keep holding him?" Snow said "No, I'm still not that used to holding babies." Regina smiled at Snow "It will come back, and he isn't a baby anymore, he's one!" Snow said bouncing Neal up and down.

"Mama!" Neal said laughing trying to grasp Snow's nose. "Yes this is mama." Snow said in her baby voice. "Snow, people are waiting." Regina said trying not to laugh. Snow nodded her head and came into the living room where David had guided everyone to. "Hello everyone and thank you for coming to Neal's first birthday party! I'm glad that you could come, enjoy the food and we will have cake and open presents later!" Snow said smiling at her baby boy. She picked him up and placed him in a highchair and began to feed him.

"Do you believe we will be doing that soon." Regina said to Robin who was standing next to her "I know it feels so surreal." Robin said putting his hands around her waist. "Alright love birds, your not at your own house right now." Zelena said sneering at Regina "Greenine." Regina said laughing. Suddenly Snow came up beside her "Hey Regina, me and David talked and at the end of the party do you want to announce your news?" Snow said smiling "I, Snow are you sure. It is Neal's birthday."

Snow nodded her head. "Let me get back up there we are about to open Neal's birthday presents." Snow said smiling. She walked up to the front and clinged a glass "Hello everyone, we are going to begin to open presents. Thank you to everyone who bought Neal a present it was really not necessary. But if you want to leave after that you can. And again thank you so much for coming and thank you so much for the gifts." Snow said sitting down and putting Neal on her lap.

She reached for the first present and started to open them. Soon there was only a few presents and a few people left, Regina, Robin, Gold, Belle, Athena, Evelyn, Emma, and Zelena. "Here is Regina's gift, do you want to see what's inside it?" Snow said looking at Neal. Snow and Neal started to tear at the wrapper until a box was uncovered, Snow lifted the box. Inside was a white colored blanket with snowflakes made out of lace and white ribbon on the edges. Snow dropped the box and handed Neal to David. "Regina! How, What. How did you." "I've alway had it, I couldn't let it go." Snow ran up and hugged Regina. "Thank you."

Flashback

Regina sat in a rocking chair inside her baby's nursery, she rubbed her swelling abdomen and hummed. She heard footsteps coming down the corridor and heard the heavy door swing open. Regina opened her eyes and saw Snow standing at the door. "Snow, what are you doing I thought you had lesson to attend." Regina said smiling at her step-daughter.

"I finished early so I could give you this." Snow said handing Regina a box, it was a white box with Regina's name written on the top. Regina opened the box and inside was a white knitted blanket with lace snowflakes and white ribbon boarding the outside. "Snow this is beautiful! Where did you get it?" Regina said patting the seat beside of her.

"It was my baby blanket and I thought the baby might like to have it. I loved it when I was real younger and I think my step-brother or step-sister might like it too." Snow said smiling up at Regina. "Thank you, it will be their favorite as well." Regina said with a tear stuck in her eye "I need to get going now I have riding lessons to go to in a few minutes." Regina nodded her head, Snow leaned down and hugged her step-mother around the neck.

She stepped out of the door and left. Regina sighed and looked down at the baby blanket, she didn't think she would ever use it. "Mrs," Joanne called to Regina at the door of the nursery "Come Joanne." She was carrying a cup of tea "Your majesty, you should drink this it might make the baby move." Regina shook her head and took the cup from the servant's hand, it smelled putrid in the cup.

She slowly sipped it and gagged she quickly turned the cup up and drank all the remains of the cup. "I will come check in a few minutes, rest till then." Joanne said taking the cup and leaving. Regina sighed and shook her head "Joanne this has happen time and time again, I don't think it will work this time either." Regia said choking back her sobs.

"It might work this time your Majesty, have hope." Joanne said leaving Regina to her own thoughts. Regina stood up and grabbed the baby blanket that Snow had just given her from inside the crib she slipped her hand across it putting a preserving charm over it and a blood spell aswell. She flicked her wrist and the blanket was in a safe place.

Regina sat down and waited for Joanne to come back. She soon did and to no avail did the baby move. "I'm sorry your majesty but were going to have to do it again." Joanne sighed. Regina got up and walked with Joannes help to the room opposite of the nursery there Joanne induced Regina's labor and helped her deliver her stillborn child, just like the many she had already delivered.
