Regina looked at Robin. "Robin we need to go get that flower." Regina said looking at him "David we need your help finding it we don't know where it's at." Regina said looking over at David "of course are we leaving now?" David asked, Regina looked up at Robin waiting for his answer "Whatever M'lady says." Robin said to looking down at his fiancée. "Sure if you want to!" Regina said smiling. David nodded his head and gathered his gear. "Snow make sure that nothing happens to Belle please." Snow nodded her head, Regina, Robin, and David left the site and started towards the tower.
"So what's this flower for?" David asked looking at Regina. "Well um you remember that whole scene at the castle we had the other day well that was me taking an infertility potion and you can guess what happened after that. Well I went to Blue and if I get this flower she will reverse it." David nodded his head "Why?" Regina looked over at David "What?" Regina looked at him confused "Why did you take it?" David said looking at Regina "I- well my mother hooked me up with my "soulmate" but wasn't actually the guy with the lion tattoo she enchanted his arm so that it had a lion tattoo. She wanted me to have a baby so that she could kill me so she had a way to get higher in royalty. I would have died if child birth or some mysterious illness after the baby was born. Or that's what mother would say. So I made the potion but I didn't even know I was pregnant but you know what happens after." David looked at Regina, his mouth agape.
"Are you serious! Wow how why did you deal with her?" "I had to I didn't have magic all my life like you think I had, I had to learn it from Rumplestiltskin. So I could defeat my mother and send her away." "Why didn't you have magic your sister did?" "I well I don't know my mother probably made it so I couldn't learn it or use it I honestly don't know I never wanted to use magic in the first place but I did after I married Snow's father because of my mother I had to get rid of her she was ruining my life so I summoned Rumple and he taught me I didn't even know what was going to happen in the end I didn't know he was using me to cast his curse at all." Regina huffed.
"You didn't know me before I was the Evil Queen you probably thought that I was always like this." "No I didn't Snow told me about when you first saved you she told me that she believed in you but after she captured you and she called off the archers and gave you that last chance well I think she lost that hope. But I never believed her I always thought you were like this because how did it just happen suddenly it had to always be in there but I see you now and I believe her I see the girl that saved her. Why couldn't you be like that then why couldn't you leave everything alone?"
"I was already broken beyond repair and I wanted someone else to experience it because you don't understand how it is but I didn't ask you to come to talk about this. Can we just get this flower." Regina said getting tired of talking about her old self she didn't regret it because it got her Henry but she didn't like to talk about it anymore. Her, David, and Robin walked on head towards the tower.
No one talked they just walked on the road waiting for David to speak. "How much further do we have Charming?" Regina spoke, her feet getting very sore. "It should be right down this hill okay." David said speeding up a bit. They went up the hill and started going down they were about to the bottom when Regina saw the tower it looked like it could fall any second now. But all around it was the most beautiful flowers they were yellow with a glittery substance coming off of them. "Are these it?" Regina asked, David nodded his head Robin went to go toward them when Regina put up her hand. "No this was my mistake let me do this." Regina went up to the flowers she knew that something would happen but she didn't know what.
She took a deep breath and plucked the flower. She stood up and nothing happened. She looked around and she heard it a baby screaming. She went towards the baby's wails, she gotten to the tower and there was a little baby he was wearing a black silk tuxedo with shined black shoes his hair styled the way his mother wanted it. Regina sighed "Samuel" she said teary eyed, she looked up and saw Henry and Roland beside of Samuel holding hands.
Suddenly a person in a cloak poofs behind Roland and stabs him in the back, going straight through the heart. Regina gasped she started to get up but the person held up two more swords pointing at her two other boys. "No!" Regina yells blasting magic at the person. She hears a laugh behind the hood, she freezes no it can't be, The person takes off the hood, it's herself but she has that glint in her eye like she always did when she was the Evil Queen.
Regina blasted her with magic this time but she pointed to the spots she knew herself was weak at. She conjured up some of her light magic and blasted it right at her heart. "Don't you dare go near my sons again!" Regina yelled running towards the spot where her babies were just at. She had just defeated herself. She went back to where her babies were she caught a glimpse of Henry before he was gone.
Regina sat down on the earthy floor and cried at the spot where Samuel had laid. That was the first time she had seen him in years. He was so little he was wearing the clothes he wore when he was buried except that one he was alive and not blue. Regina slowly got up and went up to the road again. David and Robin where waiting for her Robin ran to her. "I-go-got-the-flower-I-I'm-so-tired." Regina said before collapsing in Robin's arms.
Robin looked over at David he just shrugged his shoulders and started to help Robin. Robin waved his hands signaling he had it. Robin picked up Regina across his arms he gently sat the flower down in her lap and started to walk. Her figure was very tiny so she was very easy to carry for one person. "It shouldn't take as long to get back now since I know the way this time." David said "yes but I know a short cut that could get us there faster." Robin said he slipped into the woods waiting for David to follow him.
He walked around the forest until he found the trial only Robin had memorized. Robin has a camp very close to where they were stay he just never knew the huts were there. He followed the trail and it lead them to a camp. "This is where my merry men used to stay if we walk this way through the woods we should end up back at our camp." Robin said, David shook his head and began following Robin into the woods. Robin walked through the forest until he smelt a campfire and people talking, he also heard the crying of babies as well. "It looks like we made it back!" Robin said smiling down at Regina, who was still passed out.
Robin came through the woods and right at Snows and David's hut. Snow was coming out of the hut right when he stepped out of the forest. "Oh! Robin I didn't see you there you've made it back already! What happened to Regina!" Snow said all at once trying to get everything in. She walked beside Robin waiting for him to set her down. "I don't know what happened to her she was in the forest for I guess an hour and then she came out with the flower in her hand. She spoke and then she collapsed."
Snow nodded her head. She got out a rag and a few herbs. She waved them underneath Regina's nose and Regina woke up instantly. "How did you do that?" Robin said mesmerized "I learned a few things." Snow said smugly. Regina tried to sit up but winced "Hey, hey it's alright don't sit up whatever happened in the forest I need to take care of it tell me what happened." Snow said smiling at Regina. "I don't want to talk about it." Regina said looking down at her lap, picking at the flower.
"Okay that's fine but you won't be distracted from the pain and I won't know exactly how to treat you!" Snow said sounding exactly like a doctor. Regina rolled her eyes "Fine! I didn't know you were my doctor." Snow smiled "I went into the forest and picked the flower nothing had happened yet. And then I heard a baby's wailing so I started to run. I came to the tower and there was Samuel, my baby there at the tower. Then I looked up and saw Henry and Roland right beside him holding hands. Then out of nowhere a person in a cloak poofed right behind Roland, and-and well they killed him. I then went to get up and go to Roland but the person had two other knives pointed at Henry and Samuel. So I blasted magic at them and then their hood fell off. And the person was, it was me but it was partly my Evil Queen self. So I started to fight her and since I knew most of her weaknesses I defeated her and I went back to where Henry and Roland where and I just saw a glimpse of Henry before he disappeared. Then I went out to Robin." Regina said, a tear falling down her cheek.
"Oh Regina I'm so sorry!" Snow said while cleaning her up and dabbing her with herbs and medicine. "I should have warned you but I thought you already knew what was going to happen. "Well I didn't but I doesn't matter now it's over with," Regina said as she closed her eyes and waited for Snow to quit trying to make her "feel better".
