Part 68

Violet laid unconscious in the kitchen, bruises formed on her body where her fathers feet and hands landed on her. A small pool of blood was forming around her head. Henry sat in his room, just finishing his homework he found it strange that Violet hadn't texted him yet. He climbed down the stairs "Mom I'm going to Violets she hasn't texted me yet" Regina looked at him concern "okay sweetie, call me if something is wrong" Henry nodded his head and walked of the door, starting on his way to Violet's house. Henry soon arrived at Violet's house, he went on the door and knocked, no answer. He stood there for a second, no sound came from the house, nothing. "Violet?" Henry put his ear to the door, he didn't hear anything. "I'm coming in" he walked in the door and up the stairs, she wasn't in her room. He walked back downstairs and into the living room, she wasn't there either. He finally walked into the kitchen to see his girlfriend laying on the floor covered in bruises and blood was sprayed all over the floor from places where her skin had broken. "Violet!" He yelled panicking he looked around, who done this? He took his phone out of his pocket and called his mother. "Hey Henry is e-" "mom, hurry come please, she might die" he was on the verge of tears."Henry sweetie what happened?" "Hurry!" He yelled into the phone, the line went static and Regina was standing beside of him, purple smoke just vanishing. "Oh my god" a hand went to her mouth "what happened?" She stared at Violet and all the places where she was hit "take her to the hospital, with your magic, please, hurry" Henry was panicking.  Regina nodded and sighed, she flicked her wrist and they were in the hospital. "Some please! Hurry come here" Henry was crying, he didn't want to lose his girlfriend, or his baby. Whale came rushing out "what happened?" Henry looked at him "isn't it obvious! Someone beat her!" Whale nodded his head "bring a gurney!" He waved his hand to his nurses and they hurried over with a gurney, they put Violet on it and carried her away. Henry tried to go with her put, Regina and the nurses were holding him back. "Hey, you have to let them work, stay calm my little prince" Regina whispered to him he calmed down a little bit. "Come on let's go sit down and wait" she turned him to the waiting chairs. Henry sat down and waited to see if his girlfriend and baby was alright. He sat there, head in hands rocking back in forth on the chair. "I don't want to lose either of them" he finally said to his mother "I don't either, the loss of a child hurts more than anything" she rubs Henry's back. "It feels like I already lost them, when I saw her there I lost it. I thought her and the baby died and that I had failed them" Regina smiled. "I am so proud of you" Henry looked up at her "what?" "I am so proud of you, do you hear yourself, your acting like a mature man worrying about his wife and child not a teenager." Regina she looks at him sadly "I just wished you didn't have to think about these things" Regina kissed his forehead "thanks mom" Henry leaned into his mom and laid there until Whale came through the doors. Thirty minutes later Whale burst through the doors "good news, she's fine, she wants to see you, and I have some news to share with you once your there" Henry got up and motioned for Regina to come with him. They both followed Whale to Violet's room. She laid in the hospital bed with an iv in her arm, an oxygen mask on her mouth to help her breath. "Hey" Henry went up to her and kissed her forehead. Violet took the oxygen mask off "Hey" she smiles and kisses Henry. Whale coughs to get their attention. "I do have some good and bad news to share, it looks like you lost your baby" Henry and Violets eyes filled up with tears. "But, it looked like you were pregnant with twins, and one of them survived" Whale smiled sadly. Henry looked at Violet and hugged her "I'm so sorry" he kissed her. Violet cried on his shoulder as her held on to her. Whale left the room to let them grieve. Regina came to the other side of Violet and places a hand on her arm. Violet turned to look at her "who done it?" Regina asked plainly, Violet sniffled "my, my father, he did it" he cried harder after she said this. "Henry stay with Violet, me and David are going to solve this" Henry looked at Violet then his mother, he nodded his head. "Hey, Violet, your going to live with us now okay" Regina smiles and gave her a small hug, Violet smiled back "thank you"
