"Pfft, no I don't like Dean", I said.
Suzy smiled. "Good. Then we're going to be THE bestest friends, ever."
She giggled again and I flashed her a nervous smile.
"Hey, ladies. What's going on?" asked Bryan. I tried to mentally tell him to get me out of here, but Bryan was too busy checking out Suzy.
Suzy twirled her perfect hair. "Hey, Bryan. We were just talking. How long has it been?"
"Gosh, we broke up seven months ago. It's been long", he said as he ran his hand through his hair.
"Yeah, and he's dating my best friend, Rachel", I chimed in.
Bryan nodded. "Uh huh."
"Wow, hope you two are happy together", Suzy said in a less flirty voice.
"It was nice seeing you again."
"Yeah. See you, Bryan."
I watched as the two smiled at each other for a minute more before Bryan walked off.
"What's with you and Bryan?" I asked.
Suzy shrugged. "Just an ex. We were dating while we shot our movie, Chicago Chill."
Chicago Chill was this romantic comedy about a bachelor who was dating his best friend's sister behind his back. Sarah dragged me to that stupid movie that had no meaning at all.
"Loved that movie", I lied. Suzy's eyes lit up.
"Really? Dean said it was the worst movie ever."
Looks like Dean and I have something in common.
"Yeah. I loved it when you threw that pie at your brother's face because he called Bryan's character an ass."
"That was my favorite part, too! Omg, let's ditch and go grab some grub."
I nodded and followed her out the studio. I hope she meant real food and not salads.

"I heard the lobster here, is amazing", informed Suzy as she looked at the menu.
The prices were ridiculous. Fifteen dollars for chicken noodle soup. I could buy cans of chicken noodle soup for fifteen dollars!
"This is really fancy", I told her. Then I remembered that Dean told me she liked fancy restaurants.
"I'm pretty sure a famous director's daughter can afford a thirty dollar lobster."
I stared at Suzy. I wonder if she thinks I'm spoiled?
"Can I offer you ladies something to drink?" asked the waiter. He was very handsome. He looked like Superman in black slacks and a white button up.
"Can I get a lemonade with no lemon. I'm allergic", ordered Suzy. I tried extra hard not to laugh at the waiter's confused expression.
"Uh, that's just sugar and water, ma'am", he said.
"Okay, nevermind. I'll just have a coke."
The waiter jotted it down on his notepad.
"And for you?" he asked, looking at me.
"I'll have a sprite." The waiter nodded and wrote my drink down.
"And we will also like the lobster with mash."
"Okay, your food will be out in a bit. I'll be back with your drinks", he said, taking the menus.
"Wasn't he so cute?" asked Suzy.
"Don't you have a boyfriend?"
"Yeah but, it's not like I slept with him." Suzy pulled out her phone and her fingers danced on the screen.
"So, how long have you and Dean been together?"
Suzy chuckled. "Tomorrow makes two months."
I raised an eyebrow.
They can't be in love, right? I mean, two months isn't a long time.
But then again, Romeo and Juliet were in love once they saw each other.
"How are you guys going to celebrate?"
"I don't know", said Suzy before she looked up from her phone. "Have you ever dated before?"
I was taken by surprise by her question.
"Well, I went on a blind date recently", I told her.
Suzy laughed. "He must've been cute because your cheeks turned pink."
I smiled and looked away. She was right, he was cute.
"He was", I whispered.
"Well, if he's worth it, he would ask you out again", she said.
"Too bad he lives in San Francisco", I murmured.
"San Francisco? I love that place!" she yelled. A couple at the table next to us jumped.
I snickered. "Never been."
Suzy's eyes grew big. "What? Stop lying."
I shook my head. "I'm not. I've never been out of the state before."
"That is going to have to change. I am taking you out of state Friday", she demanded.
I threw my hands up in surrender. "Okay, okay."
The waiter showed up and gave us our drinks.
"Um, my friend here wants your number", Suzy said. I blushed.
The waiter wrote on his notepad and gave me the paper.
He winked at me and walked away.
Suzy and I laughed.
