Poisoned (Sonadow)

Chapter 14

Shadow's P.O.V.

After Sonic took his medicine and ate the chilli dog that I promised him, he showed me the guest room.

"Lay down while I'll go to bring you a blanket" He said and I tiredly nodded. I plopped on the bed and groaned. 'Finally I'll get some sleep.'

I heard Faker chuckle before he left the room, leaving the door open.

It's been 10 minutes and he's still downstairs. 'What's taking him so long?' I thought annoyed. I then heard foot steps so I pretended to be asleep.

I felt a very soft blanket cover my body and something warm and moist on my forehead. My heart stopped and my cheeks became slightly pink.

'Did he just kiss me?' I thought. He then placed his hand on my face and rubbed my cheek with his thumb. I leaned in his touch, liking this action.

I opened my eyes, only to see Sonic smiling. His smile soon turned to a shocked expression. "Y-you're awake?" He said and blushed in embarrassment.

My only response was grabbing his arm and pulling him with me under the covers.

"Uh, Shad? What you-" He tried to ask me but I cut him off. "I'm pretty sure you know what I'm doing." I mumbled and hugged him. He tensed up but soon he hugged back.

I blew in his ear, making it flicker. "Stop it." Sonic said hugging me tighter. I ignored him and continued blowing his ear. He groaned and put his hands above his ears.

I then scratched his neck, making him purr. He raised his head and I scratched his neck more.

Our noses touched and he ran his hands from my stomach to my chest. This action made me purr and turned me on, if I'm honest.

"Shadow.. I-" I cut him off by kissing him passionately. I closed my eyes and hugged him tight, loving every second of it. Sonic slowly and shyly kissed back.

After a minute or two, we parted for air. We were both slightly panting and staring at each others eyes, until Sonic spoke. "I think I'm in love with you" I pecked my lips once more. "I love you too" I said and nuzzled him.

He mumbled something that I couldn't make out. "What was that?" He blushed a bit and repeated himself. "I was always scared that you would make fun of me because I was attracted to guys" He fiddled his fingers as he said that.

I smiled at him and raised his head, he was now looking at me. "I had the same fear." I kissed his nose and added "We can talk about it later, right now I'm exhausted." He nodded and kissed me again, I almost immediately kissed back.

When we parted he buried his face his face in my chest fur and slowly closed his eyes.

The happiness that I was feeling was something that I had never ever experienced in my life.. not even with Maria..
