Poisoned (Sonadow)

Chapter 25

Sonic's P.O.V. 

After the movie Shadow gave me my pills and antidote, which I hate with all my heart, and went to sleep.

The next morning I woke up with Shadow's face in front of mine, with a drool on the side of his mouth. I laughed quietly and cleaned his muzzle, causing him to slowly wake up. He nuzzled me and he groaned, then looked at me and kissed my cheek.

"Morning." I said cheerfully. He hummed again and boringly turned around. I rolled my eyes and sat up, then went to the curtains and opened them. Shadow covered his head with the blanket, which I took from him.

"Wake up, sleepy head, you slept long enough." I pocked his cheek. He waved his hand in front of my face. "Five more minutes." He mumbled. I shook my head and smiled, he was such a baby when there wasn't people around.

"Shadow, it's almost evening. Wake. Up." I shook him. He finally gave in and got up, but he was still half asleep, so he bumbed into the wall sometimes, every time I was laughing. He sat on the couch and closed his eyes, falling asleep again. I went to the kitchen, took and freezing cup of water and poured it on his head. He quickly shot up and looked at me with wide eyes. I was on the floor laughing my lungs out, when he was staring at me with a questioning yet pissed off look. 

"Why did you do that?" He growled at me. I knew he wouldn't do anything about it, so I didn't pay much attention. Unfortunately, he did something. He grabbed by my hand and threw me on the couch. I stopped laughing and started at him as he slowly got above me.

"For the last time. Why did you do that~?" He said with a low and seductive voice, sending shivers down my spine. "I-I... I uh..." I stuttered. He smirked at me and leaned towards me, while I was still staring. 

"What's wrong Sonic? Don't know what to say?" He leaned a little more. I nodded, not realising I did, and leaned as well. He suddenly stopped and stood up, leaving me even more confused than before.

He went to the kitchen and started making our lunch. When I realised what happened I blushed and stood up quickly. 'How is he doing that? Why couldn't I move?'

After a couple of minutes Shadow came in with two plates. He gave one to me and sat besides me and didn't say anything as I glared at him.

"Why did you do that?" I asked a little angry. He just chuckled and smirked at me.

"For the same reason you woke me up by pouring water on me. Because I wanted." He continued eating while I was glaring at him with a faint blush on my face. "Yeah but my one was funny." I mumbled and ate my food. He looked at me and raised a brow.

"Not for me, I almost had a mini heart attack." He said with a serious tone which I didn't like. "To get a heart attack you must have a heart." I joked. I was suddenly pinned on the couch with Shadow growling on top of me. "What do you mean with that Faker? I do have a heart~" He licked my ear, making it flicker. "What do I have to do to prove it~?" He looked at me straight in my eyes.

"I-I was just joking Shads." I said terrified, I hadn't seen him act like that. He laughed and kissed my cheek. "I know~ I just love messing with you." He purred and pecked my lips. I blushed and looked away embarrassed. "Aww, don't make that face, it makes me feel guilty," Shadow made me look at him. "I'm sorry, I just can't help it. You're too cute when you blush." He said, making me blush even more.

"S-shut up! I'm not cute." I lowered my ears. "Are you sure about that? Right now you're making the cutest face." He pocked my cheek. I grabbed his finger and moved it away, but he tickled me with his other hand.

"Sh-Shadow! Stop p-please!" I was laughing so much that I had tears in my eyes. I saw Shadow laughing with me as he was tickling me. I begged him to stop but he acted as if he couldn't hear me.

When he finally stopped I was panting and giggling while Shadow looked satisfied. "Did you enjoy it?" I rolled my eyes. He nodded and kissed my cheek.

"You ARE cute" He said again. I frowned and crossed my arms.

"No I am not. Stop calling me that." I turned around with my back was facing him. Then I felt Shadow's hands around me and pulling me to him.

"Okay I will stop for now." He rested his head behind mine, his breathing was going through my quills, which sent a shiver down my spine. I turned around and hugged back. "Thank you Shad" I said and burried my face in his chest fur.

It was late in the afternoon, so the sun was setting, creating a beautiful scenery. Shadow and I were holding hands as we were walking around the forest. THis time we took another road, since I didn't want to see the sight of the poor animals getting roboticised.

I shook my head and looked straight, I was thinking about it again. I sighed an asked Shadow to sit down for a while and he accepted. We were watching the beautiful sunset as we were holding hands. Although I've seen it before, I was sure that I'll remember this one forever.

I rested my head on Shadow's shoulder and he wrapped an arm around me, it was awesome, everything that was in my mind was now erased.

I still can not believe that Shadow and I are together, I hope it's not a dream, but if it is, then I don't want to wake up.
