Poisoned (Sonadow)

Chapter 18

Shadow's P.O.V

Sonic and me were watching TV and talking about random things, I even learned that Amy became depressed after Blaze's death and that she loved her.

"I thought that she had a huge crush on you." I said. He was still laying on my stomach, his head was on my chest and his back was facing me.

"I thought so too, I was surprised when she told me she had a crush on Blaze." He said while looking on the TV. "I was relieved to be honest."

"Me too." I mumbled and rested my head on top of his. He was just staring at nothing, probably thinking of what to do.

"What do you want to do now?" He asked. "Nothing really, just sitting is fine with me." I said, not wanting to move. I was still tired from yesterday. 'How much energy did I spend?'

"But I'm bored!" He groaned. "You can't move too much, you already moved enough this morning." I said. It was actually very dangerous, but I was too dumb to realise that earlier.

"Fine." He pouted. I closed my eyes and I was slowly drifting off to sleep. "Are you still tired?" He asked me and I nodded. 

"Go to sleep then." He sat up for me to move. I nodded then got up and walked to the bedroom.

"Don't move if it's not necessary!" I shouted. "Okay!" He yelled back.

I plopped to the bed and sighed, I was going to sleep for the whole day, I knew it. I closed my eyes and slowly drifted off to sleep.

Sonic's P.O.V. 

Shadow went upstairs to sleep and I instantly got bored, so I called Amy and Tails.

"Hi Sonic! How are you?" Tails answered. 

"Hi buddy. I doing fine, how about you?" I asked him, it might have been two days but it felt like years to me.

"Same here. Your plan with Blaze worked by the way." He said. 

"That's nice! Amy must be really happy." I thought of the last the time I saw her happy. It was a long time ago.

"She is! I haven't seen her like that in ages."

"I'm happy to hear that."

Do you want to talk to her? She's awake as well."

"Sure thing."

"Hello? Sonic?" She said after a few seconds.

"Hi Amy! How are you?" I said, pretending that I didn't know what was going on.

"You won't believe it! Blaze's alive" She yelled. I put the phone away from my ear and hissed.

"Really? No way!" I acted like I was surprised but failed.

"You knew didn't you?" She asked with a serious voise.

'Noooooooo... Kinda?" I said. She scared me sometimes with that voise.

"Since when?" Her voise came back to excited.

"Actually, I told Tails to try and bring her back." I scratched the back of my head. She immediately started asking me questions like 'Why didn't I tell her sooner' and stuff.

"I wanted it to be a surprise. Did you get along with her? Did you tell her?" I changed the subject.

"Yes I told her about my feelings. And she returned them!" She started screaming again.

"Okay, okay! Keep it down! My ears can't take any more screaming." I chuckled at her behaviour. Tails was right, she I haven't seen her like that for ages.

"Sorry, but can you blame me?! She was gone for so long! And she's back!" She yelled. We chatted for a while, until it was time for lunch.

"I have to go now Sonic! See ya!" She said and hang up.

I sighed and closed the phone, she just wouldn't stop talking or let me speak. I went upstairs to see Shadow sleeping like a rock. I laughed and tried to wake him up, but again he didn't even respond. 

"Shadow. Wake up." I whined. I wasn't going to jump, not since he told me I could freaking die!

"Five more minutes." He mumbled and he hugged my hand. I stood still and stared at the door, I was thinking of a way to wake him up.

"Shadow. Wake up! I'm hungry..." I continued whining and made him groan.

"Fine." Shadow groaned and stood up. He hugged me and rested his head on my shoulder. "What do you want to eat?" He asked after a few seconds of just sitting there.

"I don't know, surprise me." He chuckled at my response. 

"You still look like you fought a raccoon." I laughed and fixed his quills. "There me go."  I smiled at him.

He smiled back at me and then stood up. He picked me up, taking me off guard. "What are you doing?" I said shocked. "You can't walk too much remember? I don't want you to be scared about dying." He said and set me down on the couch.

"Sonic! Food's ready!" He shouted from the kitchen. I slowly walked to him and sat on the chair.

"You are taking this very seriously. You walked here instead of running or dashing." He pointed out. I then realised that I did take seriously, usually I don't care about these stuff.

"You're right. I don't know what made me scared." I admitted. He placed a plate with noodles in front of me.

"Oh! Noodles! I haven't eaten that for a long time." I started eating right away. "You're very hungry I see." He laughed at the way I was acting. I nodded and continued eating. "What do you want to do after that?" He asked me. I shrugged, I didn't have anything in mind.

"How about, I call Rouge to come and visit you? She can keep you company." He offered, but I shook my head, swallowed my mouthful and then answered. "I want to spend more time with you." 

He seemed kind of shocked but nodded. "Alright then, how about..." He thought for a couple of seconds. "How about we go for a walk? I can get a wheelchair from my home." He said. I looked at him with a questioning look. "Rouge broke her leg a few months ago, we kept the wheelchair in case she did it again." He answered and I nodded once more.
