Chapter 11

Shadow's P.O.V.

Sonic didn't stop purring all night. It's been 5 hours now and I was getting tired, so I decided it was time I got up.

I tried to slowly get up but he hugged me tighter and tangled his legs with mine, making me chuckle. I untangled ours legs , got out of his grip and replaced myself with a white and fluffy body pillow that Rouge bought for him.

I sighed as I left the room and closed the door behind me, and I called Rouge.

"Hello?" She sounded exhausted, but I didn't care. "Rouge, where's my chaos emerald?" I got straight to the point, not wanting to start a conversation.

"Why do you need it?" She asked making me slightly growl. "For something, now where is it?". " I won't tell you where it is unless you tell me why you need it." She growled back. I new she wouldn't give in so I told her half the truth.

"I'm tired and I need energy, now tell me." I coldly answered, hoping that she would shut up and where the darn chaos emerald is.

"Then take a nap! It's not that difficult!" She said as if it was the most obvious thing in the world.

"There's no way I'll sleep in that house, tell me where it is or I'll make you regret the day you were born!" I tried really hard not to yell, but it was impossible.

"Nope." She said and immediately hang up. I groaned and plopped on the couch.

I closed my eyes and tried to calm down, I then heard footsteps from the stairs.

"Shadow?" His voise made my ears perk up. I hummed in response because I felt too tired to even talk. "What's wrong?" He asked and I half-opened my eyes. By the look on his face I knew he understood what's wrong.

"Why don't you go to sleep?" He asked again and groaned, this time louder. He tilted his head making a cute expression, making my cheeks heat up and I quickly looked away.

"After you get your medicine, come on." I said and went to the kitchen with Faker following me.
