Poisoned (Sonadow)

Chapter 26

Shadow's P.O.V.

We were sitting in the grass while looking at the sunset, Sonic had his head leaning on my shoulder and quietly purring, as I had an arm around him and running my fingers through his quills, thinking about what will happen in five days. In five days Miles will come back from Vanilla's house, which means I will go back to my home. I don't know if I should be happy or sad, I'm happy that I'm finally going home, but I'm also sad that I have to leave Sonic.

I sighed and rested my head on top of his, making it obvious that I was upset.

"What's wrong?" Sonic placed his hand on top of mine.

"I was just thinking that... In five days Miles will come back and I'll go home " I hugged Sonic, made him face me and hid my face under his chin. He giggled and petted me.

"Don't worry Shads, we'll find a solution." He rubbed the inside of my ear, which was a really sensitive spot of mine, so I purred loudly. He laughed and continued rubbing my ear.

I looked up at him and kissed him, not being able to stop myself. He kissed back, his hand finally leaving my ear in peace. I broke the kiss and stared at his beautiful emerald eyes, I never thought that I could find them so attractive, but I did, they were shining for the sun that was slowly setting, creating a breath taking scenery.

We stayed like that for what it felt kike hours, until I noticed how dark it was. I got up and stretched my hand for Sonic, who grabbed it jumped up, causing me to almost lose my balance.

"Let's go home, today is the last day you will be taking your medicine." I said. He looked at me with wide eyes.

"Are you joking?" He raised a brow after a few seconds. I shook my head and  begun walking. "Finally! I'm tired of the shots." He shouted with his hands raised upwards. I chuckled at his behaviour, he is sometimes acting like a kid who doesn't care about anything. I held his hand when he came beside me and kissed my cheek.

We arrived home after ten minutes of walking. We were both tired and sleepy, so we went in the bedroom immediately after Sonic took his medicine.

He plopped on the bed and hid under the blanket while I closed the curtains. I turned around and saw huge lump on the bed. Slowly walked to Sonic and  when I was close enough, I jumped on top of him.

"GAH!!" Sonic fell from the bed with a loud thud. "Auch." He rubbed his forehead. "Shadow, that hurt." He whined.

I started laughing without knowing why and rolled on the bed. Sonic looked at me with a questioning expression. "Why are you laughing?" He started giggling with my laughter.

"I don't know." I said as I whipped a tear that had formed in the corner of my eye. "You just looked so funny." I added.

He frowned a bit and lowered his ears. "That hurt you know." He mumbled and looked away, his ears slowly turning red.

I stopped laughing and hugged him from behind. "I'm sorry love." I blushed when I realised what I just said, Sonic doing the same and looked at me.

"It's okay." He looked as if I made his whole day, his smile was the brightest I have ever seen. I smiled back at him and pulled him on the bed, then covered us with the blanket.

He hugged me tightly and burried his face in my chest fur. "I love you." He mumbled. "I love you too." I replied. I then started healing him with my chaos energy, which I completely forgot about these past few days.

Sonic whimpered a little before he purred loudly and moaned lowly. I blushed when I heard him moan, but shook it off, I didn't want to think too much about it.
