Chapter 33

Sonic's P.O.V.

I woke up seeing a white and fluffy thing in front of me. I look up and saw Shadow snoring as a drool was running down his cheek. I laughed and wiped the drool and kissed his cheek.

Shadow groaned and nuzzled me in his sleep, making me blush slightly. I smiled and silently purred as I nuzzled his chest fur, since I knew he was really tired. After a few minutes he groaned and slowly woke up.

"Had a good sleep?" I asked and kissed his cheek. He opened his eyes tiredly and nodded, then stretched. I moved away and sat up, looking out the widow, which was behind the curtains. 

Suddenly I felt two hands slowly wrapping around me and I tensed up, but calmed down when I heard Shadow purr lowly. I laid on his stomach, my back facing him, and looked up at him smiling.

"Do you know what day is tomorrow?" He asked me and kissed my forehead. 

I thought for a while and shrugged. "Friday?" I sheepishly smiled. Shadow smirked and shook his head.

"It's April~" He growled seductively, making me madly blush and lower my ears. He saw my reaction and grinned satisfied and chuckled.

"Don't worry, I'm not going to do anything if you don't want to" He kissed my forehead. I stayed quiet and looked away with my ears pinned on my head.

Shadow made me look at him and looked at me in worry. "I was joking Sonic. I didn't mean to." He tried to calm me down. I shook my head and stuttered. "I-it's not th-that... I do w-want to... you know..." I didn't look at him after I said feeling embarrassed. 

Shadow hugged me tighter and purred silently. "I love you, you know that right?" He asked me and nuzzled me. I slowly nodded and calmed down.

"You also know I would never push you to do things you don't want." He kissed my ear. I giggled as my ear flickered then purred and smiled. "I know" 

Shadow stood up and went to the kitchen to make breakfast while I stayed upstairs and looked at the ceiling thinking about what will happen this April and blushed at my own thoughts.

After a few minutes Shadow came in the room with a plate of eggs and bacon. I sniffed the air and looked at him smiling. 

"I made breakfast." He kissed my forehead and placed the plate beside me. I sat up and raised a brow. "What about you?" I asked him.

Shadow smirked and brought the fork up to my mouth. I understood what he wanted and opened my mouth slightly blushing as he chuckled as he fed me. After he fed me a few times, he gave me the fork and I looked at him confused.

"What? Do you want to feed me too?" He asked me with a smirk on his muzzle. I shook my head and laughed softly. "You are something else Shadow." 

"That's why you love me~" He said and purred. I laughed louder and nodded. "That's true." I kissed his cheek, then brought the fork up to his mouth smiling. 

We continued like this until the plate was empty, then we went to the living room and sat there while thinking of something to do.

"We could go for a walk. I've healed so it won't be a problem." I suggested, but Shadow shook his head.

"You need at least two days rest." He said and closed his eyes. I frowned and lowered my ears.

"I feel just fine. I'm okay, Shads. Please Shadow, please!!" I made a cute face as I pleaded. Shadow blushed slightly and sighed.

"Fine" He smiled and scratched my neck. I purred and leaned on Shadow's touch, making him chuckle.

I heard Tails' door open and looked upstairs. "Good morning Tails!" I said when I saw him.
