Poisoned (Sonadow)

Chapter 21

Shadow's P.O.V.

"He's fine, it was just a symptom from the antidote." Miles said and I nodded, as i was mentally jumping from happiness.

"So you're telling me that this will happen every time he takes it?" I asked when I realised what he just said.

"No, I'm telling you that he needs to not move at all for an hour after he takes it." He explained as if I was a dumbass. It irritated me but I held my anger in.

"Alright, don't tell anyone what exactly happened. They will freak out." I growled at him, trying to look as less friendly as possible.

"Yeah, like you did." He chuckled. I growled louder, not wanting to talk about it. "Don't worry, Rouge told me already." He laughed when he saw that I froze and my eyes widened.

"Who else knows?" I said with a creepy smile, making him regret what he just said.

"N-no one! I swear! She just told me because I'm Sonic's best friend!" He started mumbling things that I didn't care about.

"Shut up already!" I shouted to make him stop. He immediately stops talking and heard what I had to say.

"I'll chaos control us to Vanilla's house, but you won't say a thing of what we just talked. Am I clear?" I said with a low voise. He nodded and gulped, he was probably scared of what I would do to him if he said anything stupid.

I grabbed his hand, chaos controlled to Vanilla's, and chaos controlled back, taking his chaos emerald with me.

It was already night, Sonic was still unconscious, laying on the couch breathing steadily.

I was still in shock of what just happened, but tried to forget it. I injected Sonic with the antidote and sat beside him with the chaos emerald in my hands because I was sure that I wouldn't sleep that night.

I petted his quills softly, making him purr. I smiled at his action, but it soon faded away, with sadness taking over. It was my fault that he went through all of that.

It's been a day since the incident happened, I was still cursing at Rouge for saying my secret to the fox boy.

'How could she? I trusted her and she just says it to the whole world as if it's nothing?' I was getting mad just by thinking about it.

I calmed down, injected Sonic with the antidote and went to G.U.N., since my time off was over.

All day I was thinking about him, scared that he will wake up and not find me there, thinking that I left him. Thank god the thought slowly faded as the day passed.

When I got home, I found Sonic still sleeping peacefully. I did what I do for the last four or so days, took him to the bedroom and laid beside him. I also took the chaos emerald with me for any emergency.

I hugged him tightly and nuzzled him, loving everything about him. At last the horrible thoughts left me in peace, so I fell asleep with him in my arms.
