Gerard hugs Bryan and Donna as they've just gotten home, just gotten their bags in from the car.

"How was it? Any issues?" Bryan asks as he slides off his coat, hanging it on the clothing rack by the door, making sure everything was okay.

Gerard's holds back a smile as he thinks about the amazing few days he had with Bert while they were gone.

"It was fine, just watched a lot of movies" Gerard lies, playing with the sleeves of his onesie.

It's been storming all day, so Gerard's wearing the most comfortable clothes he has, his skeleton onesie.

"Any issues with symptoms?" Donna asks, having missed Gerard, worried about his medical condition, hating to leave him alone.

"Nope, I was fine-" Gerard's cut off by a knock, Bryan answering the door, letting in..Jenna and Bert.

Bert holding his jacket over his mothers head to help keep her dry, shocking Gerard that they're here, not knowing anyone was coming over.

"You didn't tell me they were coming" Gerard says, embarrassed as he's in a onesie, no makeup.

Bert chuckles examining Gerard's onesie, his flustered red cheeks, winking at him.

They sit on the couch, Bert keeping his arm around his mother rubbing her arm in hopes of warming her, hating to see her cold and shivering.

Gerard smiles watching how amazing Bert is with his mom, it's the sweetest things, he's such a mamas boy.

"Here" Gerard says giving Jenna his soft brown blanket to warm here while she talks with Donna and Bryan.

They all seem to have gotten so close, they always have coffee, or dinner, everything together.

"That's such a cute onesie! Let me guess, cold?" Jenna smiles, figuring the cold and rain is why he's in it, knowing he usually loves to dress up.

"Freezing" Gerard chuckles, freezing due to the low temperatures, added with the fact it's raining.

Bert wishes he could go warm him up, tell Gerard how cute he looks in his onesie, as much as he wishes he could, he can't, Gerard's not out.

"Oh, Gerard I forgot to mention, Danny and El are going on a trip, so Jay is going to stay with us for a bit" Bryan says, remembering.

"What? Can't he find somewhere else to stay?" Gerard says, not a fan of Jay, especially with his staying here, in his home with him.

"Gerard, I know you don't like him but you better be nice to him, do I make myself clear?" Bryan warns.

Gerard sighs, "Yeah, sure"

Gerard sighs, mind on how miserable it's going to be when Jay gets here, staying for a week or possibly longer, not wanting to even lay eyes on him.

Bert watches Gerard play with the sleeves of his skeleton onsie as everyone else continues to talk when there's a knock on the door.

Gerard sighs, knowing it's Jay and Bryan stands to open the door, "Gerard, be nice, I'm serious"

"Jay" Bryan smiles opening the door, letting Jay in out of the rain who's holding a bag.

"Thank you for letting me stay with you, it means a lot" Jay smiles setting his bag down, brushing his wet hair back with his hand.

"Gerard, it's nice to see you" Jay says sitting next to him with a sly grin, Gerard just rolling his eyes, ignoring him, his entire plan to avoid him for the time he's here.

Gerard looks at Bert, looking at the confused expression on Bert's face as he looks at Jay.

Jay's parents and Gerard's are friends, not close like Jenna and Donna, but just friends, more like acquaintances, hints why they're never hanging out.

They talk for almost 2 hours, Jenna and Donna having the time of their lives as they talk and gossip with each other.

After hours, they leave due to the time and Gerard goes upstairs, not wanting to be around Jay any longer.

Gerard curls up in his sofa at the window as his phone rings, Bert, they planned to call.

"So why don't you like Jay?" Bert asks when he answers, watching Gerard across the yard covering up with his warm blanket.

"Jeez, way to start the conversation. I just don't like him" Gerard shrugs, not wanting to get into it.

"Doll, since when do you 'just not like' someone?" Bert points out, making Gerard chuckle at him being persistent.

"He's always had a crush on me, and I don't care, I have other friends who like me, it's just-" Gerard pauses, trying to think of the best term.

"It's just what?" Bert asks, wanting to know what else he was going to say before he gives his opinion.

"I don't know, he just makes me uncomfortable. I mean, I'm just going to ignore him, but I wish he'd find somewhere else to stay" Gerard says.

"Then I'll deal with him. Give me 20 minutes and I'll make him want to keep his distance" Bert says.

Bert doesn't appreciate the fact a boy who obviously has the biggest crush on Gerard is staying in his home, down the hall, and makes Gee uncomfortable.

"Baby it's fine, I'll survive. Plus, I'll kick him in the balls if he gets too close" Gerard says, making Bert laugh.

"You're really good with your mom" Gerard brings up, remembering his eeffort to warm her up earlier.

"She means the world to me, she's all the family I really have left" Bert says, making Gerard's heart warm.

The two talk and talk, wandering so many different subjects, talking about their relationship, family.
