Rogers POV
I prayed the Fred wouldn't say anything as Brian and I walked back into the recording studio together. I couldn't deal with his teasing right now. I needed genuine support. Brian squeezed my hand as we opened the door. There was no hiding now since Freddie knew. John would be next in a few minutes.

As the door shut they both snapped out of what they were doing and looked up at us. Freddie had a little smirk on his face. I wanted to punch it off him so bad, but I was also glad he wasn't horrified that Brian and I were together. John looked at us as if he had no idea what was about to happen.

"Rog and I are together" Brian blurted our. He looked at me deeply and smiled whilst saying, "Really together." John's blank face turned into a kind smile and he rested he head in his hand. "You know, we've been waiting for this to happen longer than you two have" John said motioning his hands towards Freddie. Brian and I giggled in glee. "You guys really are good together" Freddie said and he sounded genuine. "I just hope you won't go around snogging during practice" he said as he walked over to the coffee table in the studio and put down the newspaper he was reading. 'There's our Freddie I thought'.

Brian placed a small kiss on my lips in protest to Freddie and then went to sit by John. "You know what? I think we've done a lot of good today, I'm gonna call it and go home" Freddie said as he started to pick up his coat. I wasn't one to protest a early release from work so I agreed with him and the rest of us packed up our stuff.

As Bri and I were leaving, I saw Freddie talking to John outside by his car and then hug. I wondered what that was about but was brought back to reality as Brian slipped his arm around my waist. "How about we go out somewhere since we're off early?" He said "I could drive if you like." "That would be nice" I said with a half smile. It was only 7:30 so we had a lot of time on our hands.

I got into Brian's can and he started it up. The hum of the engine calmed me as a stared out the window. "How about The Brooke?" Brian asked. The Brooke was a pub just a few blocks from out flats so it was easy to get there and back if we were drunk. "Yeah, I think I need a drink after a day like today" I said with a little laugh.

Brian parked and we made our way inside. It wasn't too crowded since it was still early, so we found our usual seats at the bar and waited for our favorite bartender, Mark. Mark was a buff looking older man with a scruffy brown beard and thick eyebrows. "The usual?" He asked as we sat down. "Please" I said with a warm smile. Mark brought out two glasses, a pint for Bri and a double whiskey for me.

"Let's not get to pissed tonight" Brian said with a sip. "Fine" I said jokingly whilst touching his arm.

Just then two girls sat down next to me. One a short blonde and the other a taller dark haired one. They reminded me of the woman I used to hook up with after shows. The kind that would spread their legs at the snap of my fingers.

"Aren't you the boys from Queen?" The blonde asked as she batted her eyelashes. "Indeed" Brian answered. He then gave me a look that said, 'let's do the usual thing: an autograph and and hug, then we say goodbye'. I nodded in agreement, I didn't want any distractions form Brian.

"Would you two like an autograph?" I asked hoping that's all they wanted. "That would be perfect" the taller one piped up. We signed a few papers and laughed at one of their awful jokes. They overstayed their visit to us by sitting down and ordering themselves some drinks. Bri and I tried to have a conversation, but the blonde put her hand a little to far up my thigh. I turned around to see her leaning on the bar with a smirk on her face. "Before I go," she began as she rubbed my thigh, "could I get a kiss goodnight?" I really didn't want to but if it meant her leaving I would do anything. "Sure" I said a little too flatly. I kissed her cheek and turned back to Brian. 'Are you kidding me' was written all over his face.

'Sorry' I mouthed to him, but he just rolled his eyes. I felt bad but that was a little rude, wasn't it? "I'm sorry dear, but Brian and I have a bit of work to talk about" I said to the girl, hoping I could coax her to leave, "Maybe I'll see you at one of our shows" I finished. She smiled and waved goodbye, walking back to her friend.

"I'm really sorry Bri, but I did it so she would leave. You understand right?" I asked him trying to get him to look me in the eye. He looked down at his feet, "Yeah, I just don't like the idea of you kissing someone right in front of me. It nearly made me sick." I felt even more regret than I did before. "It won't happen again, love. I promise." I said, picking up his hand and kissing it. "Alright" He said with a little smile. I knew I could make him feel better.

The rest of the night we spent drinking and talking about our families and little secrets we'd never shared before. Before I knew it, it was midnight. "We should go home now, it's late" Brian said before taking one last gulp of his drink.

"You're right" I said as I paid Mark and we left the pub. We laced our finger together once we were outside and got to the car. "Brian, I don't think you should drive, you've had too much too to drink" I said with a giggle. He laughed a little and walked back beside me. "Let's walk to my place, it's closer" I began, "you can stay the night if you want." I hoped he would accept. "I'd love that" he said and kissed my forehead.

The walk to my house wasn't long, but it was cold. We had our arms around each other to support both of us and huddled together for warmth.

Once we got to my flat, I opened the door and started to take off my coat and shoes. "It's lovely in here" Brian's voice came up from behind me, along with his arms around my waist. "Thank you, but you've been here more times than I can count, so I don't see what you're going on about" I laughed.

I went to the kitchen and poured us both some water as Bri sat on the couch with his feet and legs thrown across the side. It's looked as if he was going to sleep there. "Hey, babe, I got us some water" I said putting his glass down on the coffee table. "Oh, thanks" was all he said. "Is there something wrong?" I asked, he was fine a few seconds ago and now he seemed mad.

Brian didn't speak. He just sat there looking at this glass. "Brian.." I began, but never ended up finishing. A tear fell down his cheek and he looked up at me. "I'm just scared" He croaked. I knelt in front of him, his hands in mine and I tried to find some kind of answer in his eyes. "Of what dear? There's nothing to be scared for, I'm here with you. I'll always be here." Brian looked at me and tightened his grip on my hands.

"I don't want you to leave. Or maybe I just don't want this to be a phase for you. I want to be with you, but I'm scared you'll go back to your old ways, y'know?" He said quietly, his voice cracking between sentences.

I threw my arms around him. "Oh, Brian. I promise you, you're the only one I want. I've wanted you since we first met! You were and still are my one and only" I cried. Brian pulled our hug in tighter. His hands roamed up and down my back. He cried into my shoulder and I nestled into him for comfort. Promise?" He asked. "Promise."

Once all the tears were away, we made our way to the bedroom. We were both tired, but I was glad to be sharing my bed with him. He changed into one of my pajama pants, which were a bit too small, and I slept in my boxers. He wrapped his arms around me and whispered in my ear, "Sweet dreams, love".

Was this chapter better? Also, my chapters are saying I've published my first part every time I publish a new one so I'm kinda confused. Anyway I'm updating really quickly and hope you enjoy! - Deacury x💓
